And the worst movie of all time is. . .

Howard the Duck.

They should have named it Howard the Turkey instead.

The Rocky series. Traffic. Heat. Several Travolta movies: Battlefield Earth, Phenomenon, Pulp Fiction.

choke You classify Pulp Fiction alongside Battlefield Earth?!?

Lifeforce, directed by Tobe Hooper. Only movie I’ve ever walked out of. Made absolutely no sense.

Sheri

Fear, w/Reese Witherspoon and one of the Wahlbergs.

What made the movie worse (it’s about a boyfriend/stalker guy) is that I saw it on a FIRST DATE! She picked it and I sat there the whole time thinking, “My god, is she actually enjoying this?!?”

Very bad first date movie. Not a good way to impress.

Reminds me of the time I went on a lunch-date with a woman who worked in the same building I did, and afterward she took me into her car and showed off her car stereo – by playing the song “Date Rape”!

Space vampires(lifeforce instead of blood) with big tits.

I liked it

Not naming any names but Traffic and Pulp Fiction have no place in a thread about the worst movies ever made.

How about:
Batman 4
Escape from L.A.
Glen or Glenda
etc. etc. etc.

For the real mccoys try http://www.aaronmccray.com/entertainment/ator.html

Hey, I saw them at CBGB last month. They were actually pretty good.

-or-

with Steve Guttenberg as Tarzan…

You know, I think the Oscars get it wrong on many occasions, but I have a hard time pegging a Best-Picture Oscar winning (Rocky) or nominated (Traffic) film as one of the “worst movies of all time.” They may not be the best films of all time – or even the best films of that particular year – but they generally don’t totally suck, either.

I’m with you on the later Rocky movies, though. After the second film, they just get worse and worse.

And I’m with tracer in being shocked at your inclusion of Pulp Fiction.

The Color Purple

Whoopi and Oprah. 'Nuff said.

Worst movie of all time is…
Manos, Hands of Fate!!!

Ah dude, what was I thinking? Not “Fantasia”- the worst movie is obviously “E.T.” GOD I hate that little alien…

blair witch project. were done now.

the postman

The Magus. In an interview Peter Sellers was asked what he would change if he could relive his life. He replied, “I wouldn’t see The Magus.”

Not a real applicant, but I liked the Sydney Morning Herald’s potted review: “Blow sucks.”

Wow. I’m not sure I can disagree with that sentiment enough.

Worst movie ever? Cutthroat Island. It starred Geena Davis as a very buxom pirate. I listed it on the “Worst Comedy Movie” thread as well, and my choice still stands.

Ishtar. I saw it in the theater before the bad reviews started a pile-on. (Just the same, I feel obligated to add that I didn’t pick it.)

WHAT?! Who could hate that little space man?! As someone off the X-Files would say, “. . .that little green man.” Nah, I was just kidding, I don’t really like him either.

IMHO. “Seven” You would think a movie with that cast would be good. One of the most overwrought, overrated, indulgent films of the '90’s.

How can we have a thread about worst movies and no one mention Pamela Anderson’s Barb Wire or Anna Nicole Smith’s To the Limit and Skyscraper? Or maybe no one mentions them because no one actually saw them.
