We do find out what happens to the Ghormans in Rebels I believe.
I’m really liking the pacing of this season. Well, and last season too. Feels like each set is a movie. There’s continuing plot lines, but some nice closure at the end of each set.
My favorite character is Kleya. I hope she has an awesome ending, but this series seems to only have anticlimactic deaths.
Kleya is my favorite also, hoping she makes it. Seems unlikely anyone besides the characters we know can survive though.
I saw some furor online about replacing Jimmy Smits with Benjamin Bratt for the role of Bail Organa and I thought it was dumb at first. First off, those guys look similar enough and some times actors are too busy to go do a small scene, it happens. Then I saw it in the show, and it was nothing but Bail Organa just walking by Mon Mothma and saying hi… why even bother at that point?
We still have three episodes to go, and it sounds like he has a bigger role in those last three.

Chiming in to say I’m enjoying season 2. Did anyone else notice that, in the scene at the party near the end of episode 6, when looking at the gallery of ancient artifacts, one was a Roman dodecahedron?
I did notice that, but it seems much larger than the real ones. I guess our modern degenerate age has lost something in its scale
There are those who believe life here began out there…sorry wrong franchise.
Six. (Extra text for Discourse)
Huh. I had it in my head that there were only 3 arcs this season.
The imperials also want the Gorman rebels to have some success and get bolder, so arming them and letting them think they have gotten away with it is probably part of the plan. Maybe publicly execute a few low level officers for incompetence just to show how really upset and crosspatch they are that the guns were stolen .
I am on the Syril has a change of heart boat as well .
I think this is the first time I’ve ever seen this word. Is it a Britishism?
I’m behind, only up to episode 3 of the new season, but damn am I loving it. As good as the best arcs of the first season, which means as good as any Star Wars since ESB. And, maybe, the best portrayal of the mundane details (meetings to plan genocides, petty brutalization and exploitation, and yes, widespread sexual assault) of fascism of any sci-fi or fantasy screen project I’ve ever seen.
Well it’s English A crosspatch is someone who is bad tempered and irritable, but it gets used as an adjective as well , “ ohh are you all tired and crosspatch ?” Is a great phrase to help diffuse a tense situation where someone is irritable .
Well maybe not.
Once again I just watched the first episode of the batch – saving the next two for Friday.
Who scolded Cassian on Yavin (for leaving without permission)? is it someone we know?
(the General D— who isn’t Dodonna?)
First mention of the Force?
Brian
General Draven
Watched the whole batch.
Yeah it was worth powering through.
This is as good as it gets. No more to be said until more have a chance to watch all of them.
Yes, this batch is the best of the season, season one quality.
It might have just been the mood I was in but I thought the first of this batch of three was a little boring but the other two were great. One thing I kept wondering was, unless I missed something, what inspired him to take the Droid with him other than us knowing that in Rogue One he has a droid companion? It just seemed like a random act the script demanded to link the show with what we know.
