Some people (not I) are pronouncing it “DOME-bo,” which is just silly, IMO. But they also want a log / tagline emphasizing “Your Dome,” I don’t care for the connection with the word “dome.” Just don’t like it. Whatever.

You know what is even more funny. That is tiny little start-up immediately got offers to help out and more cash offered than needed and on top of it did not end up needing any money as another member is hosting it for now on his already paid for service. What’s more people are offering help and it is being accepted and if the board grows to the point of needing cash it appears that the cash is ready.

As to why members decided to wander over, the reasons vary highly and dismissing them as boiling down to the use of one word shows that you don’t have a clue what is going on.

The board is building a community quickly. There is a Mafia game and Family Feuds already. It has a good crafting thread and some interesting picture threads. There are a few debates that might be interesting in the political and debate forums (Capitol Hill and The Crucible respectively)… The writing forum is an interesting difference from the Dope. The bitching/anger about the dope is already dying down
Mainly it is a quickly growing board with a lot of user input. It is not what you described and it is not (yet) in need of any cash.
In the end, it is just another message board there is nothing particularly special about it but it has a good chance to be a good place to pass the time and the board operations will be transparent.
