Anthony Weiner: douchebag extrordinaire

The liberal feminist media has got his scent.

Huma’s and Hillary’s situations don’t compare in this regard. Power? Ha!

Hillary was married to the President of the United States of America. During the earlier wave of the scandal, her husband was the governor of Arkansas and a viable presidential candidate. Was Bill in a position of power? Ohhhh yes.

Huma is married to some schmuck who had to resign from congress and is now running a joke of a mayoral campaign that’s only pulling in
$1,897 in contributions per day. Is Carlos Danger in a position of power? Not so much.

Hillary hitched her wagon to a star. Huma hitched her wagon to an anvil. If Huma wants a career in politics, she will need to untie herself stat.

But this is the Dope, and we discuss virtually anything. Exclamation point.

Ah, finally, an answer to my question. You don’t like Huma because she’s a female with a job, and therefore, anything that her husband does is automatically her fault.

You could have just come out and said that, you know. No need to play MRA-coy.

You said it, I didn’t. Engage in some more personal attacks on me. It’s cute.

Classy to the end - Weiner gives the middle finger to reporters after conceding defeat in the NYC mayoral election: Anthony Weiner Flips The Bird, Ends His Mayoral Campaign Exactly Like You'd Expect Him To | HuffPost Latest News

LOL! His wife must be so proud.

We’re going to miss you, Carlos. Jon Stewart is *really *going to miss you.

Better and better - Carlos’s former sexting partner, eager to promote her new porn career, kept him from going into his Election Night party for awhile: http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2013/09/11/weiner-dodges-sexting-partner-flips-the-bird-as-he-rides-off/?hpt=hp_t2

Thank you for everything you’ve done for John Oliver.

Maybe señor Danger can now chillax.

Whither the Weiner now? Too much baggage for the usual corporate kiss-off? It seems clear he is unelectable, but I’m not sure there’s even a spot on K Street for him.
Predictions?

Cable news wrestler would be my guess. His biggest talent seems to be verbal sparring.

Reality TV?

I feel a little bad for Eliot Spitzer. He was mounting a modest comeback by campaigning for a minor office. There’s been no issues with him and escorts since his 2008 scandal. I thought he deserved a 2nd chance. 5 years is a long time.

But Weiner and his alter ego Carlos Danger just had to reach out to women on the Internet. He brought Spitzer down in defeat with him.

Do you have any opinions on the guy he was running against? I know everybody wanted these races to be referenda on Weiner and Spitzer and cheating, but there was a lot more going on than that. Spitzer jumped into the race late against a guy who was an active officeholder.

All of this is completely wrong. Spitzer lead in the polls until a couple of weeks ago, probably because of name recognition. That lead was gone by late August, but it lasted long after the Weiner campaign fell apart.

It seemed like nearly every Weiner news article managed to mention Spitzer. The sex scandals seemed to link them together and reporters pounced on the connection. They rarely acknowledged that Spitzer’s scandal was 5 years ago and old news.

I didn’t really follow Spitzer’s campaign and don’t know his opponent. I just thought it was a good re-entry into politics for Spitzer. I watched his CNN show regularly and was very impressed. He’s a smart guy. He messed up and I guess his days in politics are over.
