There is no parole at all in the federal prison system afaik.
No, but you can transition into “halfway house/work release” when you have about 6 months left. If I’m recalling correctly.
Do you actually have to work? And, does Mr Weiner have a real job? Hopefully he can transition into a normal life.

Three months off for good behavior doesn’t offend me. I wonder what he’ll do after release. I would think his job opportunities might be limited.
The really interesting question is how long it will be before he is caught engaging in this type of inappropriate behavior again. If all of the publicity, political damage and harm to his marriage didn’t stop him from repeat offending, I’m not sure that prison will. He seems to be suffering from some kind of compulsion. I hope he’s found a way to keep it under control, but at this point I’m extremely skeptical.
Or, he’s learned some ways to not get caught. Prison education, and all. What a loser.
Yeah, our prison system isn’t very well-geared to helping people learn to keep themselves under control.

Rather than gratify himself over social media, he might try having some actual sex with a lady.
I suggest he hire a prostitute, because most women wouldn’t touch him with a ten foot pole.
