Anyone know of any other Trilogy marathons being scheduled? It would seem like a prime time to do it, with the hype building before the Oscars.
Well, we had one here in the OKC the night before ROTK opened. Actually, ROTK was scheduled for 12:01am Wed for that showing, FOTR started about 4:00pm, Tues.
it was at out local AMC theatre. Nothing currently on their website. But, I’ll keep an eye out for you. (Gratuitous POTC pun.)
Er, that was Trilogy Tuesday, which happened at 100 or so theaters in the US and many more abroad. Trilogy Tuesday is why Qadgop is asking about MORE marathons, rather than just marathons.
Er, yourself. I was letting him know what theatre did it here and I linked to their website. I know he wasn’t asking about the past showing, but I thought he might benefit from knowing of a local possibility.
Perhaps I’m just confused, but unless OKC is also used to refer to someplace in Wisconsin or northern Illinois, (perhaps some tortured spelling of Eau Claire? 
) it’s not really local to Qadgop. And I doubt even HE’s a devoted enough fan to travel 750+ miles to Oklahoma City just to see it.
Dad - if there IS another trilogy showing, and it happens at the Senator, you’ve got to come out and see it with me! You must experience the miracle that is the Senator’s sound system.
…also, I’m sick of taking the bus to the theater. 
OKC is still closer than Signapore. 
Seriously, though, we had people up here from Houston. But, if any AMCs are closer, and they actually do it again and post it on the website, then we’re set!
Our local AMC has a habit of sorts of doing multiples of movies. We had all the Star Wars enhanced rereleases played as a special a few weeks after the last one opened.

Thanks, noclueboy. I had the lowdown on the US Trilogy Tuesday prior to the opening of ROTK. I’m just hopeful they’ll do it a few more times, so maybe I can partake of the lengthy experience.
