That’s right- I missed the Hula Hut Batdope. No wonder I didn’t think we’d been there.
I can go for pretty much any restaurant along Restaurant Row. Hell, I’ll eat anywhere… well, 'cept for Indian, 'course.
I think it was Shady Grove, and then we migrated to the Filling Station. The 15th works bbest for me.

So it’s settled then! The 15th! YAY!!!
Now we just need to figure out where? Do we want a erpeat of location (i.e. Shaddy Grove or Hula Hut), or do we want to try somewhere’s new? (there’s Wan Fu, Too just down the street for all you Chinese food lovers). I’m all up for Shaddy Grove, but like I said, there tends to be a huge wait there most weekends, but luckily some of us live rather close, so a preemptive “Yes, we’d like a table for twelve” could be arranged.
The next big question is: Who’s going to be there?

I can’t say for 100% sure but there’s a 75% chance I’ll be there. Good to see Ringo’s going too as I’m sorry I had to skip out on last weekend (yesterday was the first day my face was healed enough that I felt human again.)
I’ve just been told there’s a big convention in town that weekend and that it’s a bad time for me to go… I’ll have to think about it.
I hope you can make it, but I’m sure SXSW will take up a lot of hotel space around town.

Also, it occurs to me that there are quite a few Austin Dopers who haven’t checked in, and that may be because they don’t realize that Batdope refers to Austin. Just a thought.
Yeah, I don’t think I can make it that weekend. I want to see the boy and I won’t be able to because he’ll be too busy with the convention stuff.

Shady Grove is on Barton Springs. If you’re traveling from Lamar, you turn West onto Barton Springs. It’s about two blocks down on the right. The sign’s kinda hard to see, but it’s a log cabin type building with a big ol’ wagon wheel in the front yard. Good food.
So, pravnik, I take it this means you’ll be there. Hmmm?
