Apparently "Bones" is back. Do we care?

In fairness - some of the recent episodes have been - (not nearly as bad as Dnooman’s ‘not ever having watched an episode’ review would have one believe)

Overall, its still an enjoyable show - but this season has amped the preachiness off the scale -

Yes, some of them DEFINITELY have been. I started this thread for that very reason.

My objection is to this statement: “‘Bones’ is apparently about some of the things mentioned before, and then some shitty sit-com like goofy romance crap.”

Hate the show, or anything/anyone else, for that matter, but not because of hearsay.

So, Sweet moves out ang gains two roommates, but

Janet and Crissy, Really ?

agreed.

detop - yep - “come and knock on our door, we’ll be waiting for you…”

I’m basing my opinion solely on the ads for the show. I don’t know a single person that watches it, not that I’ve asked around. It comes off to me as a show about the “odd couple” pairing of geeky bone nerd and kinda dumb macho detective.

If you say there’s enough science fact in the show to outweigh the apparent “Oh Bones, you’re so socially awkward… I’m a funny cop!” Then I’ll give it a shot.

If there’s no mention of words ending in -oid or -morph, pubic symphyses, or synostosis, then I’ll have no part of it.

Do you usually get your directives from others? Because I don’t give them. Make up your own mind about what to do in big and small things. (This is a small one.)

I wonder if they used to live with Hodgens.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I was quite surprised to see in my DVR queue a new episode of Bones scheduled for tonight, “The Secret’s in the Proposal.” Could that be Booth proposing to Tempe? Hmpf. I thought that show was dead. We’ll see.

Hey, it was what interested me the most at 7pm central.

I also been catching reruns this summer. They were new to me ( mostly)

Not something I will go out of my way to watch, but will catch if convenient.

Brian

I thought she proposed to him? or was going to? I can’t remember.

It’s in my queue, too. Is this the last season?

She did propose to him but the current bad guy threw a monkey wrench into the deal. I hope they resolve THAT soon and don’t drag it out through the whole season. I don’t know if it’s the last season… wouldn’t surprise me.

The important thing: Cam’s hair looks good, but she’s still alarmingly thin.

I stopped watching when that storyline started and was disappointed to find out it is still going on this season. At a certain point the bad guy becomes a super villain and it just makes the story annoying for me.

Post deleted.

Somehow ended up in the wrong thread.

Entertainment Weekly says that they will get married this season, but gave no details (of course) about how they outfox the badguy.

Fox’s current plan is to move it to Fridays at 8 PM in early November (to make room for Almost Human). That sounds like something Fox does when a show is on its last legs.

However, there’s always the chance that Sleepy Hollow crashes and burns, in which case Fox may end up leaving the show on Mondays and asking for another season if they don’t have anything better to put in its place.

I thought Booth was a vampire.

he got better.

I can’t help myself. I keep watching.

Who else thinks Pelant is the one who stole Cam’s identity?

As soon as they started doing their horrible undercover accents I turned it off.

Re: Season 9*, Episode 2. The Cheat in the Retreat.

The good: Cliff Clavin! Well, I actually like him from all the Pixar voice-overs.

Maybe they are going to do something interesting with Sweet. But it could be their way of putting him on the bus with Chuck Cunningham. When writers don’t know what to do with a character, so all too often they write people like him out of a show.

The bad: The rest of the show.

So, they aren’t happy just do PP for Toyota. They have to actively slam other car makers. I wondered what was up when I noticed the Ford emblem before Cam and the Flunky of the Week got pulled over. Classy!

So, one employee gets his money stolen by The Big Bad. Cam starts getting money fraud problems. Not a single person instantly thinks that this is The Big Bad. Even though The Big Bad is mentioned in this episode as having done this sort of thing.

Full of stupid.

*9 seasons of this? I quit for quite a while when they started to ruin Zack but for some reason started watching again. Why do I keep watching this?
