Up, drinking coffee. Kid 2 is up, bopping around in his underwear and resisting chores. Kid 1 is still asleep.
Steak for dinner tonight. Otherwise, no plans.
Still raining. This is good. I checked and it’s snowing in Yosemite. I love seeing it in the snow, but it would have been a right, er, pain to get in and out of the Valley. We have AWD, but there are so many tourists that don’t know how to drive in snow.
Shopping and laundry are also in my future. So goeth the weekend.

I’d like to come to the party, but it’s a bit far, and it’d be a bit expensive for me to get there (though it does have the advantage that it falls on a holiday weekend for me.)
**Midget **- much as I hurl accusations of being false friends at those who decline, I do understand that distance is an issue for most folks. (**BBBobbio **would be in trouble if he declined, but he’ll be there, so good for him!) Anyway, I’d love it if you could make it, but I’ll still let you be my FB friend, even if you can’t. 
I got the worm bin cleaned out and then Irish Storyteller and I watched that classic North Carolina movie Maximum Overdrive. I’m going to have Eastern NC flashbacks all night because of that.
I have been told, told mind you, that it’s time for me to take some night time knock me out stuff and get into bed and rest. Sigh. Sometimes I should listen to the nurse, I suppose.

I was really mean today, I made him clean up the one half dead and other full dead mice we found today. I told him if he put the poison out I was making him clean them up - I wanted to keep using the traps.
I usually do it because it’s so ick, but it’s time he got over the ick.
So we will be putting off a car for a few more days - want to make sure no more poisoned mice show up.
I already irked 9 hours today and just got another email asking us to log in. I’m tired - no more irk for me.

FCM, like I posted on FB, no promises, but after all, I’ll be retired then and don’t retired people do things just because they can? Have to check mileage from Ali-Bama to MD and see what if any cheapo flight might be available.

Played couch potato for The Masters, quite a turn of events this year. Back to work tomorrow, with 15 days of irking remaining.
I did a double shift today. I am remembering right now why I usually don’t do double shifts. Especially with tomorrow being my actual Monday.
Ruble, just as I pulled in, I heard a commercial for Diggerland. 
Of course, I shouldn’t have been in the car; forgot that SNC was in town today. 
So I slept for an hour and a half, now I am wide awake.
