Im sorry some are still having problems… Its been good to excellent when I have visited the last week or so… (I wonder if it could also be ISP related)
I’ve only gotten two timeouts today, where before I was getting them constantly.

You seem to be obsessed with jinxes – it’s at least the second time you’ve mentioned it. But don’t worry, I just unjinxed it. Read your post just fine, made some earlier posts just fine, and this one I’m sure will go through just fine. 
I’ve been getting timeouts at least once every time I log in.

Hey, you’re one of my favorite posters. I was enjoying – and playing on – the reference to “jinxes”. There was just something funny about it in these difficult times where not very much is funny.
OK. Forgiven. <blows air-kiss from 6+’ away> I guess I’m a little more sensitive even than usual. Which is plenty in normal times.
Yeah, I’ve had to do a LOT of goin’ with the flow these days. Just grateful things are working at all…
And I’m SO glad to have this board. Even running on impulse power, it’s keeping me sane to have an outlet. And of course to read the adventures of people who are weirder than I’ll ever be.

The last 7-10 days were very smooth, almost like the old days.
But yeah, this morning is awful. I first noticed it early this morning (2 AM-ish Denver time)
I got no timeouts yesterday. Today, they’re constant. Took me many tries to get here to post this…
I had problems yesterday and today. It’s better than before, though.
You click on the SDMB link and it’s “round and round she goes and where she stops, nobody knows”"-- will you get through or won’t you? Will this be the lucky click? If you get through, will you on the next click? Or will your luck desert you and you’ll have one 502/504 after another?? Nobody knows…
Had some 502s or whatever the number is today.
It’s been pretty bad today, no question. Had a “server error” timeout followed by two consecutive 504 timeouts. I was angling for my fourth when my “previous post” refresh miraculously went through. Then did a “submit reply” and got “server error” again. But based on past experience, I knew the post had probably gone through. Created another thread to check, and yep, after a long, long delay of going round and round, there it was. I just woke up at 2:45 AM EST and it’s still timing out very frequently. Today was not a good day, so if someone worked some magic recently to make it better for a couple of days, they need to do it again! Seriously, the board can’t survive with this kind of performance.
Seems to be quite fast and good today

Anecdotal - I kept noticing “ping.chartbeat.net” in the status bar (always waiting for something from it) - I blocked them via ad-block and things have been much improved for me since.
