Are There Any Man-Ho's Out There?

There are countless examples throughout the world of female prostitutes that are hired by men to perform various sex acts, but are there any examples of male prostitutes who cater to female clientele? How common is this??

I’m aware that there are male prostitutes that service male clients, but I don’t recall ever hearing about a female paying to have sex with a man. Does it happen?

Thanks.

Yes.

goggle male escorts and gigolo’s

All together now:

I’m just a gigolo…

It works better if you Google them.

Goggling them only pisses them off.

Some of them like it

Surreal you must be one of the fortunate few who weren’t subjected to the movie “Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo” from 1999. Consider yourself lucky…

I was solicited by a man in Bali. Did I look that desparate?

I am going to suspect that the women making the call is coyote ugly.

It certainly occurs, though much less often than the reverse. And the financial transaction involved my not be quite as blatant.

Here is an interesting article on female sex tourism to Jamaica.

Earlier in the year I attended the Annual Sex Workers Show, a revue of song and dance and bands and monologues and comedy played entirely by various, erm, sex workers. These included straight, gay and transgendered sex-for-hire specialists, phone sex workers, dancers, and so on. There was visual art on display as well as original written material, choreographed dances, original music… it was a very good show, if somewhat unorthodox.

One of the gentlemen in the show was, for a time, a male prostitute and made a fair living with clients in Los Angeles. From his monologue he evidently was paid discreetly on the bedside table. He also has a book out, detailing his experiences in the business, although I can’t remember the title at the moment.

Las Vegas has, I believe, legal brothels (or is it brotherels? :D) of male prostitutes, but they’re legally only allowed to service women.

Er, not Las Vegas so much as Nevada. :o

I watched this again the other day, and I still find it hilariously funny.

And so was Joe Dirt.

I am so confused.

As you note, Las Vegas doesn’t have legal prostitution (based on the county, not the city). Male prostitution is not legal in Nevada, for either male or female clients.

What, has no one here seen Midnight Cowboy?

I can’t be the only one who finds the OP’s location somewhat ironic for this question

I recall reading an interview with a gigolo in a…err…“male’s interest” magazine. Apparently, there is a common misconception that gigolos only service ‘ugly’ women who can’t otherwise get laid. This guy said that his most common customers were, in fact, young (and often attractive) women who were always away from their homes on business and didn’t have the time to maintain a relationship. But, to be honest, this wasn’t the most reputable magazine, and I wouldn’t be too surprised if this “gigolo” was a fictional character.

Or Richard Gere in American Gigolo?

What?

My great uncle was a successful gigolo in post WW2 South Australia until his death.
