Are we planning summer vacation in the MMP?

Stoppin’ for the day. Have more stuff to clear out but will do so tomorrow. After all tomorrow is another day! Plus we’s tahrd.

Ruble ummmmm… no thanks!

Mafia Man you’d break in, take one look, figure somebody beat you to it, and leave.

Bumbazine - I did get pictures, but haven’t uploaded them yet.

Spring cleaning is in full force. All cabinets are emptied and we have come to the conclusion that we own enough pots and pans for four families or one gigantic family. I appreciate the help from hubby but does he not understand I need to be a slackard? It will be nice when it all gets put back together probably in months. He pulled out the fridge and found the ice maker has sprung a leak so he is fixing that. One thing about having the kitchen torn apart is I will not be expected to cook. Win win. This was not how I envisioned my Sunday.

I don’t, yet at least, want to start a separate thread for this, but ask my friends and fellow Mumpers a question.

I’ve been meaning to start a reducing diet. But it seems I’m already losing weight, although I eat like a pig, and haven’t lately had what one would call a balanced diet. Twice in the last week and a half I’ve had folks congratulate, or compliment me, on my weight loss. I didn’t feel anything though. But Saturday, 2/24, I went to an Expresscare place about an infection under one of my nails. I had to get weighed, and sheesh, I was at 175, wearing clothes, when I thought at the very least I was fifteen pounds, likely more, heavier.

Can on just drop pounds for no reason? I do, in April, have a physical scheduled, with my GP. If this continues I’ll mention it. but in the meantime, should unexplained weight loss be a concern?

Sorry to bother you all about this, but knowing my body as I do this is definitely weird.

Maybe. Unexplained weight loss can be a symptom for various medical conditions. But may mean nothing more than you’ve been getting a bit more exercise or a bit less food over time.

Fiddle-dee-dee!

We bought the crib and the changing table. Solid wood, made by Bassett - $180!! What a great deal!! We need to scrub all the pieces and wipe them down with Olde English before assembling everything. Definitely worth the 2+ hours to go there and back.

Thus endeth the weekend. Chillage shall ensue.

It should be a concern; it can be a sign of various medical conditions from the trivial to more serious.

It can also be age, minor changes in your life, and other things as well.

But better not to take chances considering the various other stresses in your life and get it checked.

I’ll be watching “Black Demons”. Nothing says a good relaxing Sunday evening more than an obscure zombie movie. (Earlier in the day was “Homecoming”.)

ruble, that coaster sould have been right up my alley as recently as 15 years ago. Now, I’m more the KI racers speed. :stuck_out_tongue:

baker, were I you, I would check my blood glucose levels. If you want to try it without spending a nunch of money, Kroger brand meters are ~$10 and a vial of 25 test strips are less than that. My dad isn’t diabetic, but because it runs in his family, he keeps one around the house to check once a week. Fasting for four hours, it should be less than 126 on the readout.

Nelson got to run with his puppy peeps at the dog park. Supper is dijon chicken, roasted garlic carrots and mushrooms and milenniel salad. Tis good.

ruble, if I still lived in Missouri, Id’ be tempted to try that coaster.

Baker, hope it’s nothing serious, but keep monitoring it and if it continues with no change in you habits, maybe don’t wait for April (or maybe your tapeworm had
babies…)

Mooooommm, yeah on the new furniture. Sounlds like you got a good deal.

Decided I still wanted a steak and went t oTexas Roadhouse before the Church crowds hit. it was ok, a bit overcooked, but I am well-fed.

Then went out and bought a new printer, this one is a laser-printer instead of the old inkjet one, so we’ll see how it does.

Tomorrow begin the outdoor youth soccer activities; that’ll keep me busy until June.

Catch all y’all on the next MMP.

Retirement unto the boudoir shall commence shortly.

CupCakes I’d mention it to the doc when you go in for the physical. While losin’ a few pounds can be a good thing, if you are not doin’ so intentionally that could be a sign something is wrong. Your doc will likely want to run some tests which is not a bad thing. As we age, bodies do weird things. Gettin’ older ain’t for sissies!

Nitey Nite Y’all!

I thank you both for your concern. Fortunately, they do not expect it to get below 73 degrees tonight, so we should be safe.
