Are we planning summer vacation in the MMP?

70 F here, but you are still unattractive, and your Mother continues to dress you in an unusual fashion. :dubious:

First on page five; am I supposed to say, “Yee Haw!” or something? Do I win a cookie?

The British Empire and the United States were made of Sterner Stuff back then.

Doggio, WTF is Toronto doing? They look like Stay-Puft Marshmallow Men, & almost invisible against the white ice background.
Restaurant t’was expensive but nummy.

As I drove to work this week, I was thinking how nice it was that it was starting to get light during my commute. This morning, I remembered that we change the clocks next week, so back to a dark commute. Stoopit time change. :stuck_out_tongue:

The only real plan for today is to drive to Dunkirk (about an hour away) to look at a crib and changing table that’s for sale. They’re made by Basset and the ad says solid wood - if that’s accurate, the price is really good (assuming good condition.) Other than that, nothing on the agenda.

Nary a stick has been picked up yet because I didn’t want to. Can’t put it off forever, but I can put it off for a while. If the temps got into the 60s, I’d enjoy being outside - 40s ain’t gonna cut it. And the forecast is for sub-freezing temps the next 2 nights! I’ve already got daffodils blooming, dammit!!!

Need more caffeine. Happy Sunday.

Happy Sunday!

Up sooner than I wanted to be, so here I am.

It’s a chilly 31 degrees outside but supposed to get up to 48.
I’m not sure how cold it feels. I’m not opening the door to find out until the dog asks to go out, and he is snoring away.
I’m debating whether to get groceries today or tomorrow.

Nothing much to do today except irk.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 38 Amurrkin out and N.O.S. with a predicted high of 68 and N.O.S. for the day. Plans are to deheathenate, grab a burger for N.O.L. and then back to da cave to continue gettin’ ready for the paintathon. Today is brunch Sunday but we’re not participatin’ as gettin’ da cave ready has high priority. I’ll be glad to get all this over with even though it all won’t be over with for probably three or four months.

Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Purtification for deheathenization must also commence.

Happy Sunday Y’all!

Blurfage. Our winds are howling now. Must be the tail end of whatever y’all got up north.

Just waking up. I need to walk the dog and get busy with housework.

Still haven’t got the bath unblocked. I have, however, discovered what I should post on Facebook, should I ever require male attention…

Forget holiday pictures or life events, requests for cheap plumbing fixes is where it’s at! One of those guys hasn’t spoken to me since I was 8

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Went out to see some bands last night, and got home at 0200.Note to self: hold onto your beer at The Cat’s Cradle, becasue the vibration from the amps will vibrate your beer right off the drink shelf.:frowning:

“I’m all about fitness. Fitness whole pizza in my mouth.”

They are re-branding themselves as “The Ontario Winter Ninjas”. Or just failing in the usual Maple Laffs fashion.

Y’all might want to get a new GPS, Northern France is way more than an hour away.

“Free beer?”;)

Up,breakfasted and caffeinating. Not a whole lot shaking today except the usual Sunday chores and a trip to the dogpark.

Funny, funny fellow. :stuck_out_tongue:

We’ve breakfasted, gassed up the truck, disposed of more crap at the convenience center, stopped at Food Lion for some lunch items for next week, and brought in a load of firewood for the basement fireplace. Now we’re just waiting for the folks with the baby crib to contact us.

I think I shall read.

I played in a wonderful concert with a videogame orchestra last night. We went to Quebec City and played music from the Mario videogames. I dressed as Luigi.
Got up kind of late today, but that’s okay. Hope to re-establish a regular schedule shortly.

I am trying to plan my summer vacation, but not enough of you are listing specific dates when you will be gone so I can, er, “visit your cities” and, uh, “get hold of some souvenirs.”

Drains now finally unblocked. I know you were all worried.
Now I can wash my hair (which is almost long enough to sit on) and re-block it.

It’s all nice and sunny outside, for the first time in a week, but I’m sitting in catching up with school work, which I was going to do yesterday, before getting distracted by drains.

Moomm we are Springing forward, aren’t we?

We’re going to eat brunch in a bit, then groceries. Fun, fun, fun.

Howdy Y’all! We deheathenated and had BK for N.O.L. On the homefront, all the art work is now off the walls throughout da cave, covered up and stored in the garage where it shall live until the chaos of cave refurbin’ is done. Well, until stuff is painted and so forth anyways. I may not be around a whole lot this next week. Just know I am in the midst of chaos. Then again, when am I not. My life motto ought to be “Bringin’ Chaos Whevever I Go.”

Believe me, my place wouldn’t be worth the trip.

Groceries can wait until tomorrow.
I need to make a list.

Hey, wait - this sounds suspicious to me…

:stuck_out_tongue:

Birfday dinner last night was big meaty pork ribs boiled in beer (Pilsner Urquell, for those who care), and then slathered with BBQ sauce and finished in the oven, and home-made tater salad.
If I decide to make dinner at all tonight, (we have plenty of leftovers), I’ll make potato-corn chowder, 'cause I wanna.

I’m with Sahirrnee, if anyone ever broke in here, they’d probably leave us their spare change.

I don’t think we should have to spring forward until it stops raining.

Pics or it didn’t happen.

You do!!! And they will be automatically cleared next time you close your browser if you have it set up that way.
CoasterBash was fun. Silver Dollar City is coming out with a new ride to open this month called Time Traveler that looks like ------- it will separate some people from their lunch.
