Though it didn’t involve a case of beer. tick tick rage of a lotta suns is now on the clock.
Looks like LNO wasn’t serious. (Too bad – I could have used a case of beer.)
Your turn, ShibbOleth. Time to play let’s make a deal!
No no no! I am serious!
I’m just trying to get your email address so we can negotiate without going through that blankety-blank interface!
Why the hell do you want to get rid of JEFF GARCIA?!?
Did you see the numbers he put up last year?
Although I’m nervously counting on some production from a couple of rookie RBs, my team is as loaded as … well, me on any given Friday night.

Women have accused me of the same thing in relationships.
Go to the “Teams & Coaches List” link on the left of the page. My email address is there.
You took a gamble on rookie RBs, especially since Tomlinson is still a holdout, but they both have big upside potential. Bennet looked good in preseason game 1, but the Vikes O-Line is a worry.
Still, Moss spreads the field better than anyone in the game. The rookie should have a gaping hole to run through at least twice a game.
Your team loks strong. Warner-Holt could be a dream. Depth, particularly at RB, would be my only real concern.
But better late smack than no smack at atll, I say
You obviously did not pay attention to Brunnell’s stats last year. He has better upside than either Johnson or Couch. Bledsoe is a solid fantsay backup, which is exactly what is needed. As for wideouts–Jimmy Smith is not lost, though McCardell might miss the first couple of games. Glenn hasn’t been a top receiver since his rookie year, bur I’ll admit that if Bledsoe was my top choice I would worry about losing him. How you can call the Browns receiving corps great is simply beyond comprehension. They haven’t a single top-tier receiver on the team, healthy or otherwise.
Taylor is an injury risk, yes, but he finished last year stronger than any back not named Marshall. I will happily take Dunn over Emmitt this year. Emmitt is old, and the Plowboys ain’t stretching jack with Quincy Carter at QB. Dunn put up better numbers over the last half of last season, and I expect him to do so again. Hell, since they open against the Plowboys he is liable to start things off with a 200 yard game. Holmes and Hearst are both solid starters. Jones and Alexander are a backup and a backup to be. Nuff said.
Owens had the same attitude last year, and nobody was doubling Rice in the red zone. He put up better numbers than Harrison, found the endzone more consistently, and did so despite missing time to suspension. He is the second best receiver in fantasy football. Remember that when Harrison goes another 6 game stretch without scoring a TD. Freeman had a bad year on and off the field last year. His off field troubles seem over, so I expect an on field rebound. The fact that Favre is healthier than he has been for 2 years is also a factor. Boston’s a stud, but his numbers were inflated by all those desperate 4th quarter comback attempts that Arizona had to pull. The change in offensive philosophy, and the return of Moore, will both leech numbers from him.
It’s silly to concentrate too much on 3,4,5 receivers at this point, but you underestimate McKnight and a healthy Jay Feidler. Westbrook will be fine if he and George both stay healthy, but Scott will have Kitna, Mitchell, or Smith throwing to him.
Agreed
Brooks is a stud, but I’ll take my 3 over your 3 for teh long hall. Cowart is a righteous stud, too, who will get lots of opportunities in the new 4-3 alignment. McKinnon has numbers only slightly behind Brooks’, and Spikes is as solid a 3rd defender as you will find in fantasy football.
Really, though, we should look at the starters and one additional flex position. That is who will be “on the field”

Pretty even, really, across the board. The only clearly uneven matchups are QB for me and TE for you. Over the long haul, though, I like my chances. In particular, my reserves have a better upside and apear (right now, at least) to be far more reliable producers.
I have opened up a pick 'em league for dopers, too.
The invitation thread is here.
Spiritus, sorry I didn’t answer the email. I checked my mail before I checked the league and I didn’t realize it was you. I almost pulled the trigger on it, but now after seeing McNabb play Tenn. tonight I’m glad I didn’t. He struggled in one spot, but he looked good.
that’s why I wanted him!
You’ll be sorry when, um . . . when . . .
Okay, you probably won’t be sorry. It was a fair trade, but I doubt holding onto McNabb will be a major cause of heartbreak for you.
Good luck to you. And remember, everybody wins so long as Milo loses.
There is now also a College lick 'em…er, pick 'em.

Enjoy.
It was a fair trade, Brunnell put up good numbers last year. Holmes was the real bait for me, I need to improve the RB’s. Another reason to hang onto McNabb, I’ll probably need the rushing TD’s he’ll provide.
C’mon – make me a counter offer.
Don’t forget, McNabb is guaranteed at least 2 bad games a year (until Philly figures out how to compete against the Giants. What’s up with that, anyway? 6 years of losing to a team in your dividion is just plain embarrassing.)
