Frankly, having been to two DopeFests, I think your dad would be a little disappointed at the lack of menace to be found among the Atlanta crowd. I can vouch for the GeoBills. We had dinner with them and neither one of us were molested in any way. We also went over to their apartment and remained unmolested, though I was covered in pollen.
Though of course, that’s just what I’m supposed to say as an Intarweb Child Molester.

What can I bring? 
Looks like both our dessert-makers have dropped out, so that’s back up for grabs. We could still use some side dishes too. Is anyone vegetarian or vegan? My lasagna has meat in it, if that’s a concern for anybody.

I apologize- I will not be attending after all. Several things have come up, the most important that I’ll likely have to work, as my coverage person has strep throat and hospitals frown on you working with patient meds while spreading your germs all over.

Ok, we’re back from Hawai’i! A wonderful time was had by us, but boy are we pooped. But we should be recovered (more or less) by Saturday, and I’ll have my fruit salad thingee ready to go!

Welcome home! I wish we still had our old, crappy DVD player, it did slideshows of jpgs on CD! The new, fancier one doesn’t do that.
We just got back from the grocery store, chips and queso, pineapple and cherry kebobs, and baby carrots for beginners; Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite are for the sodas, and we got some dessert stuff just in case (believe me, it will not go to waste). If anyone has any special desires, here’s the place to speak up!

We have purchased our salad fixin’s. We also decided to get a dessert, so we’re going to be like a kids’ dream dinner (8 desserts, no other food! )
My mom gave me her mother’s recipie for pasta salad! YAY!
I am getting hungry, just started the red beans and they smell so good cooking. In 6 hours I will know if they will be presentable. I could not find any andouille here in North AUgusta so we will have to make do with so polish kielbasa.
