Niggle can’t make it either, and I haven’t heard from rjk, although I read in another thread that he is in Texas (I think) so I guess he won’t be there.

I am such an idiot! I scheduled my whole weekend around going to the dopefest on Saturday.
Only the dopefest was on Friday.
Duh!
Now what am I going to do this weekend?
Well, houseguests kept me from getting online all weekend but better late than never. 
I had a great time - thanks Scotti for setting it up, ren for driving, and Johnny L.A. for giving us a reason to get together. I’m looking forward to the next one!
Well, I’m back in Los Hideous. (Actually, Orange, since I’m at work.)
I had a great time at the Dopefest. The food was incredible. Ren had The Watch From Another Planet that was interesting. Jayla had a smile that wouldn’t quit. And Scotti, of course, was the mastermind of the evening. Two of my friends from B’ham also attended.
I had to leave early because my friends were leaving, and I’m not familiar enough with the town to find my way back to their place. (Actually, it turned out to be rather simple; but I didn’t know that at the time.)
I can’t wait to get back up there!
