On another board I am thinking of changing my avatar.
Instead of choosing from the lame selection of stock avatars at that board, I wish to import an avatar from somewhere else, prefferably a bomber aircraft, circa WWII, to reflect my screenname.
Is there some online avatar repository I can access?
Most message boards save the avatars locally, so I assume you’re just looking for a picture to use.
Find out the avatar restrictions (E.G. 60x60 pixels, 15KB, GIF/JPG/PNG only, no animation, etc.). Go to Google Image Search and find a picture you like. Post the info and the link to the picture you like… and any instructions you may have about cropping, etc. I’ll make you a custom one.
can’t you just download the photo you want and change it’s dimensions in photoshop or something? That’s what I do.

Anyway, there are people here willing to make an avatar for you, if you pick out a source image and tell them the limits on avatars at this other board.
