Thank you both. You certainly know more about these things than I do. What I’d like to find is something like a head-shot drawing of a librarian-ish looking type (woman). I used one for the last couple years that I found on a site where there were many screens with maybe 50 or so drawings per screen. I thought it was avatars.com, but can’t get any results with that now. The one I had all this time just went away today with the rest of the message board–I guess it crashed or something. If you know where I might find something like this, I’d appreciate more replies. Sorry I wasn’t more specific in the OP – I thought it might be nice to find something entirely different. But it turns out I miss my beloved avatar!
