Go for it, flytrap. You only have to “pretend” to be normal. (insert evil smilie here)

I worked a short(7 hour) day, I went to the laundromat, I came home. Making Basil lemon chicken with sage rice and green beans. And having a Martini, to keep with the Italian theme.

121 is 15 pins above my my high score(yes, the Special Olympics bowling team mocks me when I bowl. )

“Storm Henry” sounds like a kick ass cider.

Rockin’, But check the dental college thing, and I’ll throw in on the GoFundMe.

: crosses appropriate and inappropriate appendages for Lilly :

I’ve finally figured myself out. I’m the guy who brings a case of PBR to a champagne tastin’. Is that not me!

MOOOOOOM ham steaks are on the menu for tomorrow. GMTA!

I shall now retire to the boudoir to watch teevee until sleepy time. We’s tahrd!

Nitey Nite Y’all!

I’m thinking bedtime. MWAH!

Copied and pasted it here. I could probably arrange a firelock for you if you were really interested. I know some folks around Lansdale and Lancaster.
About the Southern Vermont
Primitive Biathlon
Event site opens at 8:30 AM and shooting competitions will be held between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM on Saturday and 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM on Sunday.
The Southern Vermont Primitive Biathlon is a Winter Shoot that combines physical endurance with marksmanship. Unlike modern Olympic biathlons – in which the participants use cross-country skis and high tech rifles – the “primitive” competitor travels on wooden snowshoes and fires at targets using black powder riles or muskets.

The Southern Vermont Primitive Biathlon is open to all muzzleloading firearm enthusiasts, regardless of their skill level or athletic ability, and we do offer a separate class for in-line muzzleloader enthusiasts as well.

There is no shortage of fun for casual, noncompetitive participants. The course itself is very scenic and enjoyable.

The event will consist of four target shooting areas throughout a mile and a half course. The first three shooting areas are in a scenic woods setting with participants loading and shooting two shots within each area from the standing off hand position. All participants are to follow a marked trail. In the last area, which is in a field setting and open to spectators, participants will fire 3 final shots…

All nine shots will be on the clock and fired at 6-inch square hanging steel targets at ranges under 50 yards (inline class target size and distances may vary). A total of 5 minutes will be deducted from the overall running time of a participant for each target that they hit.

The last target station is in an open area where families of the participants or anyone interested can watch. This makes for a fun winter family outing. Spectators are asked to observe the instructions of the event officials at all times.

Additional competitive shooting events, such as our “Absolute Marksman” “King Of The Hill” and “5 Card Draw Shoot” may also be taking place throughout the day. Inquire with organizers the day of the event for specific details.

The event will be held regardless of weather. If there is insufficient snow for snowshoes, participants may wear boots.

Awards are presented to the top 3 competitors within each class and multiple door prizes will be raffled off each day. Multiple entries for the biathlon portion of the event are accepted however you must pre-determine which score you would like to count before your second run begins.

Spectators are welcome and encouraged to view portions of the course as well as the additional shooting competitions. Spectators should observe all safety instructions and remain in designated areas only. Food and merchandise vendors will be on site offering concessions.

Period dress is definitely encouraged but not mandatory. Keep in mind, although the SVTPB is a two day event, it is certainly not mandatory that shooters compete both days.
Hope to see you!

You are unable to come up with anything as cool as an Evile Simile as the Cute One, you metallic rodent!

Cool! What instrument does your son play?

Tell them you work here

Is there also a Head (tail?) of Recruitwomen?

No, he’s a coin. :smack:

Technically, you should bring Miller High Life, since it’s “The Champagne of Beers”:dubious:

I am not going to tell you about this Wonderful Opportunity, you Big Fat Dummy!
So, there!
:dubious:

He plays various percussion instruments.

I wish that he would pound on Spiderdope. :dubious:

I want to thank all the repliers to my tire question to include 2 gig, Big Kitty and TSSR and anyone I missed. I looked and found the indicators Big Kitty mentioned. Looks like they are about half way down. The tires are Toyo prozzees. I an’t making it up. My first new Toyota in 1980 (tercel) came with Bridgestones.

Sorry for bad news re dental Rockin’ Rosie’s sig to all.

And I have been sucked in re Presidental campaign. POS machine never did come back before we closed. that better be irking when I get there tomorrow or else I will bug the shit out of anyone I can til it is fixed.

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off to work.

Have a good day Doooggiooo. I am also awake though still not up and still not sheveled.

I have to have my other bldg open at 0800 for a security drill and I have to get my computer systems back operational.

Today is Groundhog Day! Er, Happy Groundhog Day!

McD’s pissed me off this morning. Twice in the last 3 or 4 weeks, I’ve used their drive-thru (2 different locations) and twice my order was screwed up. Last time, I got somebody’s 2 for $2 instead of my combo meal, and I was too far down the road when I found out to bother going back. Today, they left the hash browns out of my breakfast combo. When I contacted them after the first time to complain, they didn’t even offer me a coupon to make up for what amounted to an overcharge. I will complain again this time, but I don’t expect anything in the way of a response. Buttheads!

Good morning. Such as it is. **FCD **is really worried about this surgery, even tho it’s the least invasive of all that he’s had done. I just hope this fixes the problem once and for all, but I don’t hold out too much hope of that. I don’t think back issues ever go away.

Meanwhile, my day has begun with 2 drawings to be fixed. I wish this engineer would decide what he wants - he’s now having me take out stuff he added. Whatever - it all pays the same.

Happy Tuesday. blech.

Storm Henry has blown his way through town and didn’t even bring us any nice cider. Today it’s a lot calmer out there, the sun is shining and all is well with the world. Well, I have no meetings today and I can get on with some real work which is always a bonus. So far my new job seems to be going well, I am finding the answers to things without too much trouble and so far I don’t seem to have messed anything up.

I made a very yummy beef stroganoff last night so we have leftovers for lunch today, tonight 'im indoors will be making curry so that will be something to look forward to tomorrow.

Tonight is gym night, I am still aching from the gym on Friday and Saturday so I will have to find a new bunch of exercises to do tonight so I can make different bits of me hurt.

Rockin’, I second the suggestion to look for a dentral school or teaching hospital. One of my friends had her wisdom teeth taken out at the local dental school for a fractio of the cost of having it done elsewhere. We have a dental school attached to the uni where I work, they are always very busy with people wanting to get dental treatment and have quite a long waiting list for certain procedures.

'im indoors had an implant finished the other week, took him four visits in total to get it done and his dentist was in Budapest. I am not sure at the end of it that he saved a huge amount from going abroad for it, but we got a couple of weekends in Hungary to visit our friends!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up, caffeinatin’, and irkin’ from da cave today. I slept a little later this mornin’ so no YAWN. 'Tis 55 Amurrkin out and way foggy with a predicted high of 79 and sunny this afternoon. Rain comes in tonight and tomorrow, and after that highs will be in the 50s again.

OK, that’s all I got for now. I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. After that, I shall purtify a bit and get bzzy with irkstuff. Rah.

Happy Tuesday Y’all! Happy Sausage Day!
