At irk of course. Extra early as I had to open my other building. Still no computer system, can not sell anything. Am aggravated. I can not even finish my end of the month inventory or begin the marathon 3 day process to pay my vendors. Dead in the water and not at all happy about it. It could not have have happened at a worse time.
The worst part of the whole thing is NO ONE ELSE CARES. NO ONE except me.
Moooommm When is the surgery? I would be worried too. The anesthesia is what I is skeered of.:eek:

Tuesday and we’re awaiting some predicted Very Bad Weather tonight, complete with tornado warnings, so I expect to be awakened about 1:30am with the Sirens going off, if the thunderboomer and lightning don’t jolt me awake first. Oh joy.
Team got a major project off our desks yesterday and my fellows are covering the two assignments we had open and they should complete them this morning, so I’ll be in the same status as FCM. Of course, I do have a couple books in text format buried in my download folder…heheheheheheh.

A day where people stand outside, for hours, in the pre-dawn darkness, in February, in NW Pennsylvania, to watch guys in formal wear pull a rodent out of a stump. In other words, an annual festival based upon CABIN FEVER!
Not just any rodent; no, this one is the Seer of Seers, the Prognosticator of All Prognosticators. (How’s that for being awarded a title!)

Went there once; didn’t see the real fun in it. At least the Hinkley Buzzard Festival usually has better weather. If I ever go to Punxie it will be with a .25-06 and a 4x20 Leupold. As someone who has had family members roll a tractor, the only good groundhog is a dead groundhog.
Lunch/dinner has been consumed; the last of the chili. It isn’t real chili of course, the Old Wench insists on adding beans and everyone knows real chili is just meat and peppers, but it was quite good. May get wet coming home but plan on using the bike to get to work today.
I just realized that it’s been well over a decade since the last time I’ve tried any variety of Girl Scout Cookies. For no reason in particular.

It’s warm out and the snow is going bye bye, with the help of some heavy equipment from the town scooping it up and loading it into dump trucks.

In honor of the day, I just et scrambled aigs, snausage, and toast for N.O.L. OYKW got him two snausage bizkits from Booger King. Thus we have both honored Ground Hawg Day. 
I wrote out a nice lunch post, them this stoopit computer (or more likely, the network) choked. So you lose my witticisms and stuff. But to answer one question: Butters, we have to be at the hospital around 10, and he gets surgicaled shortly after noon. It’s not supposed to take more than a couple of hours. After I’m sure he’s safely in his room and all that, I’ll head home to tend to the critters.
OK, that’s all I can manage. Back to work…

We’re getting hit with the same storm system as metal mouse. It’s nearly shirt sleeve weather outside now, but TWPTB are calling for it to get cold tonight creating primo tornado conditions.
Getting caught up from January today. I might be able to get a handle on February by the end of the week.

I’ve had enough irk, so I hereby declare it the end of the irkday. Thus mote it be. ‘Tis been rainy off and on for the last hour with more comin’ in tonight and tomorrow. Rah. Tstorms are predicted along with, no doubt, a tornado watch. As [color-red]red[/color] said, the combo of warm temps out and a cold front comin’ in, it is indeed primo tornado weather. As long as it does not also bring sharks, it should all be OK.

That was my wake up alarm this morning. The trash truck couldn’t make the corner in front of my house because (probably) a midshipman left his / her car in a no parking zone across the street making the turn to sharp for the truck. My friend ended up moving my legally parked Explorer to give him room to make the turn (I was getting dressed, he beat me to it).
And his wife kindly called the city. A few minutes later a parking enforcement officer showed up, and a half hour later the tow truck arrived.

Could not connect to the server which is in Millington, TN. Was just my building. Was a Verizon Business/ATT problem and was restored shortly after I wrote that bitching email. Still between yesterday and this morning it put me horribly behind. Since I worked 12 hours yesterday and have already done my 8 1/2 for today I am going home. Already behind so I may as well start fresh in the morning. I am brain fried.
I know a lot of DC’s snow was hauled to the football stadium parking lot where they had a big-ass snow melting machine.
We’re going out for sushi shortly - as soon as I feed the dog. I’s stahvink!!!
