I’m sorry, my sweet Billdo. I thought I read that chez Billdo would be too crowded for me.
You guys are totally gonna have to fight for it!
Green Bean, I know you will look fabulous in whatever you wear, just 'cause you’re so beautiful (StheWP and Jeff aren’t so bad either, though no one could possibly compare to your radient gorgeousness).
DaveWOO, I do NOT believe you are 43. I pegged you at 35 tops last year.
Since we’re all fighting over Lux Fiat, anybody know if he’s coming yet?
Finally, we are absolutely, positively, 100%, take no prisoners stopping at the GAP Mecca this time. And Hamadryad is totally coming with me.
Oh yeah, you’d like that, wouldn’t you?

Respectfully submitted,

Thanks, N4S. I guess you were beguiled by my boyish good looks. Or else too plastered to see straight. Either way, I appreciate it.
Nonetheless, I will be 43 next time we meet. Hell, my daughter is 16! And I agree with Manhattan’s top off bar dance. Worth the price of admission, in my estimation.
I’ll be bringing something special to give Fiver his b-day spanking with.
If I can’t make it, I’ll send it with TP. She’ll know what to do with it.
Not the best, not the worst, but it’s there. As time permits (or if anyone with better graphic arts skills than mine offer their services), I’ll spruce it up a bit more. But for now, the website is at www.tzenterprises.com/nycdopefest02/. If you have any suggestions on how to make it look a little better, just e-mail me.
Bill, I’ll volunteer to lead the Brooklyn Arts arm of the mega-fest. Some of the artsy-type things to do in Brooklyn include [ul] [li]The Brooklyn Museum []BAM (Although the Brooklyn Acadamy of Art’s online schedule only goes up to Dec 20th right now) []Transit Museum[list=a][]Prospect Park []Grand Army Plaza []Brooklyn Central Library []Brooklyn Botanical GardensLafayette homestead [/ul][/li]
Those last few are all within a 4 or 5 block area. The Brooklyn Historical Society can give attending Dopers more ideas of what to see. Alas, the Cyclone is closed at that time of year.
We’ll have some bagels and egg creams, freeze our asses off on the Promenade-- it’ll be fun!
[sup]Biggirl wanders off, knowing she won’t get anybody to come into Brooklyn.
Arden Ranger:
I’ll be bringing something special to give Fiver his b-day spanking with.
Reading that sent shivers of anticipation running down my inseam.
'Course, I’m still gonna need a place to stay if I come. I mean, I could probably afford a hotel, but what fun would that be?
Fiver, that’s the best compliment I’ve had in almost a month.
[sub]I’d invite ya to stay with me, but I think I’m crashing on Stasia’s floor[/sub]
I’m off until January 15, so if I’m not mired in last-minute residency interviews, I might be talked into it.
I’ve never been to NYC, so I will need some tour guidage. I figure I can just sleep in an all-night adult movie theatre, Kilgore Trout-style. (You do still have those, right?)
Dr. J
I hereby suggest that we pick a bar to go to one night where people can, no should, drink heavily. A place where people very sensitive to smoke should don 95-grade HEPA filter respirators. A bar where dogs, cats and children must be left outside.
Not to insult the fine pet owners, children owners, asthmatics and/or people with dietary resitrictions who post to this board, but if I go out boozing I need to go out hard. I’m 100% in favor of some all-inclusive Doper events, but we also should pick a place where we can separate the mensch from the ubermensch.
Do so and I’ll guarantee my Irish-Italian ass will be there.
Sounds like Alphagene has been to The Idiot.
Sounds like a plan, Alpha. I might just make time for it now. We’ll see.
 What frat did you say you were in, again?

Mine too!
I don’t know why it took me so long to think of this–must be all that looking for work making my brain soft. Suggested attire for Doper-Dudes: kilts. I believe that would cause many of the women to spin in circles.
Biggirl, I am so all about getting into Brooklyn. So there.
Let me try this once again.
AHEM
I will be there!
There. That should do it.
Oh and Brooklyn sounds great - especially the Transit Museum. I’ve never been there, but I’ve heard really good things about it.
Ooooooooooh, kilts…
