Dang - it hadn’t gotten above freezing yet today. But the sun is out, so there’s that.
I got a 2-minute bit of work, fixing a drawing and replacing its PDF in the system. So today I’ve done maybe 3 minutes of actual work. Insane.
It’s almost quitting time - I’ll stop at Food Lion on the way home - with luck, I’ll find something for a quick and easy supper. At least that way the day won’t be a total waste.

The company is Axon optics. I linked to the sunglasses (but you can get the same pair without the outdoor filtering). I ordered a different pair for interior situations. You can work with the company to get your prescription added to the lenses.
I love the sunglasses so far. I will report back on the interior glasses tomorrow, after I’ve put them through their paces.

The trip down was horrible, the backup on 70 was not too terrible but 695 was at a standstill. I was late for my appointment but not so late so I had to reschedule.
Next time I’ll leave 2 and a half hours to get there.
Stopped by my mom’s, got my Christmas gifts, one nice outfit and another pair of pants and a sweater. Sah-son got dominos gift cards, a few puzzles and stock.
I didn’t get to have lunch with my friend, she wasn’t feeling well today.

On Sunday night I had a dream that I had to call my boss and explain that my family declared an emergency week long vacation, and she was pissed because it was when I was supposed to start after having 2 weeks off for winter. I tried explaining it was a family emergency vacation but she wasn’t interested. Probably some hidden meaning in that dream.

Irk was irk today, nothing much outside the normal run of things.
DH has my bug :(. Ordered dinner from a nearby Chinese place courtesy of a very nice website. Tell website what we want, provide payment info, food appears at the door an hour or so later. Very nice.
College textbooks are insanely expensive, especially since online access is now pretty much required to use them.
At least I have tomorrow off. Bad weather has me very happy to stay in.
Home. Whew - those 3 minutes of work really kicked my butt today… 
I stopped at Food Lion and among other things, I picked up a steak in the used meat pile, but **FCD **didn’t want to eat, so maybe tomorrow. We went back to Leonardtown to pick up his laptop (apparently it was full of virus) and we drove thru Wendy’s to get some edibles - he got chili, I got a chicken sammich. Some Heavenly Hash fell in my cart at FL, so I guess we can have it later.
Meanwhile, I’m glad to be home. I’s tahred. Gotta quit waking at 4AM for no reason.
MOOOOOOM I have the same problem. I’ll be in the grocery sto’ happily shoppin’ away and when I get to the checkout, stuff like ice cream and beer are sometimes in my cart (or buggy if you live where I live). I’m all like, “how did this get in here”, but I go ahead and buy it because I’d be too embarrassed to tell the clerk that those things got in there by accident. How bothersome!
Nettie here’s hopin’ DH feels better soonest.

I can’t believe I’m hungry because I stopped at Wendy’s on the way home and got a fullsized hamburger. I usually can’t eat that much and stick with the junior stuff.

All this talk of cabbage is making me crave sauerkraut. It doesn’t help that there was mention of sauerkraut in the story segment I wrote today.
Speaking of writing, it’s been like pulling bent nails the last couple of days but now the Hero and Heroine are off on a hike. If there’s one thing I know, it’s walking through the mountains. Of course, I have to give Heroine a hard time. She’s being a clumsy oaf and getting no sympathy from Hero.
Don’t get me started on my story. I’ll never shut up.
I s’pose I’ll follow the example of the Olde Folks and head towards the bedroom. Tomorrow is the day Polly Subaru gets fixed. :):)
