Busy morning doing some laundry and puttering. Word is rain and 50s for the weekend and than next week winter and snow actually arrive. I could do without the snow but some crisp cold would almost be nice.

It’s 19 degrees outside. According to my phone app it’s cloudy out, according to my windows the sun is shining brightly.
I got a good night of sleep so I feel alive this am. Even had breakfast, bagel and cream cheese, already. I’m working on eating normally so that is helping my mood as well.
{{{Butters}}} I’ve been lucky that way, never had a hot flash either before or after the surgery. All my symptoms seem to involve my mood, which makes the people around me suffer more than I do.
China sounds like fun MetalMouse. Sometimes I envy people who like to travel and I wonder what is wrong with me that I don’t. Like one of my friends always tells me - there’s something not quite right in your head girl. I think if I could be teleported I might be more interested. Maybe not though, if a simple flight can upset my system I can only imagine what teleporting would do to me.
I like travelling but I don’t have enough money and time to travel that much, or that far. Plus, there’s the whole problem I mentioned before about me being terrified of flying.
For me, it’s more than just a matter of not enough money. My lack of mobility puts restrictions on where and how I travel. Feh.
The little break did the trick - I was having a major brain fart, but I figured it out and all is good now. I finished all 3 drawings for Jason, and now I can attack the other project he gave me yesterday.
But for the moment, it’s lunch. Yay!
The hot flash woke me at 1:30 am and I didn’t get back to sleep until near 6. Gonna be a long day today. So tired.
sari You are lucky if you don’t have hot flashes. It is the most unsettling feeling.
BooFae I think it’s my favorite new pub too!!! A bit of a “drive”, but hey - free beer. 
In the orifice today, and it’s sunny. So, of course, I’m flirting with a migraine. I’m trying the bright pink migraine glasses and they do seem to help with the excessively fluorescent brightness. The commute was only 90 minutes this morning, so that was nice. 
Well, better than the normal 2 hours.
Back to the grind.
Why do people not want my money?
I need to make a payment and the damn website won’t let me in. It says my info doesn’t match, always matched before. I was supposed to get a temp password within 15 minutes, it’s been over a half hour.
It’s so damned annoying when something that should be routine doesn’t work.

We buried Dede yesterday. The wake and the service were filled with live music (she her husband and kids are/were all musicians) except the last song at the service. It was a recording of her performing one of her favorite songs. Hearing her voice sent shivers down my spine, as she had lost most of it about four months ago. Now we are six.

Howdy from da cave! Irk has been survived yet again. YAY!!! Dindin shall be magic intartoobz pizza. I have declared a no cook night. Tomorrow is OYKW’s birthday. Thus I shall go and get a DQ cake. He wants pancakes, scrambled aigs and bacon for his birthday dindin. I offered to take him to Waffle House. He said I had to make it for him. Spoiled brat!

Home. **FCD **went to a going-away lunch, so he doesn’t want to eat. I’ll forage for something. I may sleep with Mel tonight - I need a good night. <yawn>
Tennessee is a long drive. It took two days to drive across it lengthwise. 
Pizza and sallit have been ingested. Since sallit was involved it was a healthy dindin. That’s a rule.
Looks like there will be rain overnight. The weather PTB say it’ll be here around midnight and gone by five a.m. That means I would sleep through it which is a good thing.
Weather prediction is not a science, it is a Black Art.
On a Lighter Note, tempura has been delayed. What are some suggestions for vegetables? I have sweet potatoes, green beans, yellow squash, and the Traditional Onion.
Broccoli and mushrooms are yummy in tempura. Dammit, now I want some.
Who said anything about traveling the whole state west to east? In case you didn’t notice, it’ only 1.5 hours south to north.
