Yep, and that’s why they’ll never be truly successful at marketing to men, either. My husband likes consistancy. If it’s a product he likes, he’ll keep buying it forever. If he’s forced to change, he’s very cranky.
I used to buy the Flowering Herbs spray from Bath and Body Works. My husband loooved it…he couldn’t get enough ;). He’d even brave the girly crowds and buy it for me. Well, guess what? It’s gone, and the other scents just aren’t the same. I don’t even bother to go there anymore.
I got a bunch of Sun-Ripened Raspberry stuff as a thank you gift for being in a wedding once. Unfortunately, certain artificial raspberry smells make me gag (like raspberry Kool-Aid…ick! Or, even worse, Mountainberry Kool-Aid!) so I had to give it all to my sister!
