Plus, you are ignoring the fact that Batman knows everything about kicking people in the nuts that you do and a whole bunch more that you don’t. Batman knows more about kicking people in the nuts than anybody.

Wolvie’s nut-guarding instincts would have faded away only if there’s good reason for it, that is to say, that groin kicks don’t hurt him that much. And maybe not even then. So that’s still bad news for Batman. Especially bad news: If he does try a ball-feint like I mentioned, then he’s going to be at a serious disadvantage if his opponent doesn’t flinch. Ordinarily, this is not something that a martial artist worries about, because against non-meta human males, you never have to worry about a ball-feint not working.
And yes, Batman does know a lot about dirty fighting, and he probably knows a lot more about it than I do. But Wolverine has been studying dirty fighting exclusively, without time out for lockpicking or gadget-making, for several times longer than Batman has been alive, and I’m sure that plenty of people have tried to kick him in the nuts before (once. I doubt that many have tried it twice). Do you really think that Batman’s that good?

The Context doesn’t matter. If the question is “Is Batman that good”, the answer is yes.
To be honest, both Batman and Wolverine have faced foes in each other’s league (re: fighting skills) on several occasions, and have come out on top. Lady Shiva, Bane, the list goes on for Batman.
I don’t know Wolverine terribly well, but i assume he’s faced world-class martial artists before. The closet Marvel equivalents to Batman (re: skill levels and fighting type) are Daredevil and Captain America. Logan must have tussled with these guys on occasion. How’d he do?
I agree that Wolvie has the edge (although not a huge one) in a steel (err… Make that adamantium) deathcage match. I’ll give him 3 falls out of 5.
However, in any situation in which Batman can escape and regroup, Batman wins. Batman always wins round 2.
