I am happy to report there are no mirrors in da cave within viewin’ distance when one is seated upon the throne. Well, in the master bath if you lean over and look to your right, you might be able to catch a glimpse of yourself. I did not discover this. OYKW did. This was soon after we started seein’ each other. He came out of the bathroom and said, “Ya know, if ya lean over and look to the right, you can watch yourself take a dump.” That’s when I knew he was a keeper. 
I had a decent day today, though nothing all that exciting happened. Well I drank too much coffee but didn’t get sick, so yay. 
People at work made too much coffee and I didn’t want to waste it.
swampie, what kind of work does OYKW do? You mentioned paperirk earlier, is he a shudder civil bureaucrat? Of course you don’t have to answer, I’m just nosy.
He manages a home health agency. He is an RN and is the administrator who hires other RNs to do home health stuff such as administer at home IVs. At full staff there are twelve RNs includin’ him. Plus he has an administrative assistant. Needless to say it is endless paperirk and lots and lots of monitoring plus dealin’ with accreditation. He stays crazy busy at irk.
I could never be smart or tough enough to be an RN. I have a number of them in the family though. My mother and my aunt, her sister, are both retired RNs. My cousin, the aunt’s daughter, is an RN. I have another cousin who is an RN, as is his wife, also a second cousin who is an RN.

Had a busy few days, due to a lack of wet stuff falling from the sky, plus the fact that I had actual energy, after actual sleep for one. Gardenin’ season is kicking in properly, so I’ve been down at my allotment most of my free time- need to get the chaos sorted in time to get spuds planted in a few weeks.
Yesterday was officially Pyro Day; I had a bonfire as it finally got dry enough (we’re only allowed them at the allotment site until the end of March- I’ve had a big heap of wood waiting for a dry enough day since the allowable bonfire period started, back in November. Just made it in time!), then had a fire circussy meet in the park in the evening.
I had a go at juggling clubs on fire
I’m not very good at it.
I didn’t burn myself though, despite catching the wrong end of the club a few times… :rolleyes:
Irk irked today- someone messed up (again), and forgot he’d already asked me to do pachyderm patrol, so asked two other people to do it, then the time got changed, but I didn’t get told and showed up when I’d been asked to.
I should get paid for it all, ‘cos it wasn’t my mix up, but I was down there for an hour extra by myself, with no idea what was going on, and the boss not replying to texts. There were nice wee burdies tweetin’ away in the bushes to keep me entertained (as well as multiple rats, though they weren’t tweetin’), and some very pretty fog, but still…
Eta- I’m looking forward to the day I can copy Mooom, and quit this silly thing…
We knew that. You have to be to fit in around here. 
RT will be home either tomorrow or Saturday!
This was a good excuse to do 5 bazillion loads of laundry, change the sheets on the bed, clean the bathroom, and run the sweeper and probably a few other things that I can’t remember right now.
On that note, I’m very tired and suppose I’ll mosey off to bed.
I’d love to join in on the MMP, if you’ll have me. I’ve been an MMP lurker for a long time, but never posted. So, here I am.

In other news, I got home tonight & realized I left my pants at work. :smack:
No, it’s not that bad; I went to the bathroom & got changed, hung my pants on a hanger, came back to my desk & draped my pants over the back of the chair of the woman who sits behind me while packing up my stuff. When I grabbed my stuff, I forgot to grab them. Unfortunately, she usually comes in earlier than me. :smack: :smack:
& the only person who was there late & saw me get changed is not coming in for a few days as she’s going to the Keys…there goes my alibi. :smack:

I have met my first Doper and although I am a bit disappointed that it was not a fellow Mumper, Wordman was well worth meeting. I have a new friend IRL. I am so looking forward to putting faces with my fellow Mumpers who are already friends.
Show went very well, in fact, if I daresay we killed it.
I am beyond exhausted.

Morning, mumpers! I am at irk, it is moderately irksome because I have yet to get access to the right bits of the student record system so the biggest job on the desk can’t be done yet. Never mind, I am almost there now…
Off to get my specs sorted out tomorrow, Spidey - I didn’t notice the lens was missing because that eye has very little focus so it’s pretty much tagging along behind the other one. Just goes to show that my properly-functioning eye is seriously overworked!
Weekend plans include errands, a visit to the rubbish tip to get rid of the bits that came off the doors, and Saturday night will be spent in the company of Steel Panther so that will be a fun night out. We know how to live over this side of the pond, don’t we?
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 34 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 66 for the day and sunny. Not too shabby. Tomorrow will be mid 70s so nice weather for the big celebration over to the church house. Also, with the weather bein’ what it will be for the day, mowage would be a good thing to do this evenin’. Ok, not a good thing, but rather a good time to get it done. Mowage is a chore and chores are not good things.

Higgs is sorta letting us sleep in till 6-ish. That would be good if I was still going to bed at 9, but last night, I was up till a bit after 11. Oh well, it’s not like I have to drive to the office, so yay! And today I will finish the kitchen cabinets. One good thing, 3 of the 8 cabinets are drawer stacks, so I don’t have to get down on the floor and stick my head into them to clean them. Getting on the floor isn’t the problem - getting back up again, on the other hand…
Welcome, Ace! I’ve got half of a peach cobbler but I ain’t sharing with all YOU PEOPLE!! Sorry, but it’s too good for this lot. OK, and there’s barely enough for a teaspoonful for each. I will share the recipe, tho. Because I’m nice, dammit. And I recommend anyone who wants to try it read the reviews - there are good ideas there.
**FCD **may be coming down with the cold I had last week - poor baby. He’s still crashed, and I hope he sleeps several more hours. I also hope against hope that he takes it easy if he is sick, but I know that ain’t gonna happen. He’s to the point with his bike painting that he can start airbrushing, and I know he’s antsy to get started. Hacking up a lung can’t stop great art, I imagine… :rolleyes:
