Turns out we weren’t.
The plans that got canceled were entirely unrelated. I mentioned my disappointment at missing Dope-A-Ween to Meros, and TruePisces on wednesday. It seems that I put 2 and 2 together and got 22. There was a gathering on the same date, one that I couldn’t reach by public transportation. I thought they were referring to Dope-A-Ween. While interested, I have no car and hadn’t read the planning thread. I assumed that Meros and TP had participated in the thread, as Meros does have a car.
Ah, well.

RTFirefly, right after I met you face-to-face, I thought to myself “who does he remind me of?” Then, after a couple of shots of Vanilla Vodka and a couple of bottles of beer, I didn’t care. But looking at the pictures, I’ve figured it out. . .you look like Billy Crystal! And I apologize if everyone always tells you that. . .I know how annoying that can be.
Then again, if you get annoyed with me, it’ll probably even out that whole coffee maker thing. . .
I cannot possibly imagine that he gets told that often.

Well I wasn’t talking about doing something for you, I meant that it was nice and firm, unlike mine which when I move jiggles like one of those stress balls.
I’m also wearing my costume at work now, I’ve gotten some interesting stares and I even scared some woman. It’s gonna be a great day.
I often test my costumes for durability by wearing them on errands(I don’t want anything coming loose, tearing, stretching etc on the big night), I get a lot of stares.
What surprises me is the fact that people try not let me see them staring. And almost nobody will ask why I’m in a costume.
