Best store-bought cookie

Milanos, all varieties, but especially the mint ones
Golden Chocolate Oreos
Keebler Fudge Stripes
Pepperidge Farm Snickerdoodles

Here ya go.

Gee thanks. Now I can’t stop craving one and my serving size is the same as yours.

Are you hijacking your own OP??? a Moon Pie is NOT a cookie! (but then again neither is a fig newton)

enough said…

My faves:

  1. Almond Windmills…either Voortmans or Archways.
  2. plain old regular Oreos
  3. plain old regular Milanos

and just for you OP…
Oo-ey, goo-ey, rich and chewy inside
Rich and golden, tender, flaky outside
Put the inside in the outside
Is it good?
Darn tootin’!
Doin’ the big
Fig
Newton
(here’s the tricky part)
The big
Fig
Newton
(one more time!)
The big
Fig
Newton

My first thought upon reading the thread title, was “duh…Oreos…”

Then I read the OP, and thought “Fig Newtons…damn…”

followed by "Oooh…Ginger Snaps…yumm…

and for pure simplicity, 'Nilla Wafers…"

Now I want a cookie.

I was always meh about Oreos. I was a Hydrox fan.

They’re not Hydrox, but Aldi’s version is darn good.

Anna’s Ginger Thins.

No contest.

Why oh why do I love the hard-as-particle-board Iced Oatmeal Cookies that you can buy at the Dollar Store?

You have to dunk them in really strong coffee to soften them enough to bite ('cause, particle board).

Pepperidge Farm Pumpkin Cheesecake Cookies are back at Target!!!

Pepperidge Farm Sausalito (Chocolate chip macadamia nut)
Vanilla Oreos

Oreo double-stuffs, which I haven’t tasted in years.

Wafflettens, which you usually only see in German import stores but sometimes American grocery stores carry them. They’re a rolled sheet of paper-thin crispy cookie, and one end of the roll is dunked in bittersweet chocolate.

Get thee behind me, Wafflettens!

Ah the cookie rolls on. What about those piorette things? I don’t remember what they’re called, but they’re wafer-thin, rolled up and dipped in chocolate.

Archway windmills - can’t find them anymore.

Pecan sandies.

There is no such thing as a bad cookie. If it’s bad, it’s not a real cookie.

So many cookies. So little time.
Windmills, Cinnamon Graham Crackers, Vanilla Waffers, and anything by Archway.

I’m calling Shenanigans! Graham crackers ain’t no cookie.

American: Pepperidge Farms white chocolate and macadamia nut.

Non-American: Tim-Tams. Of any flavor. An Aussie friend just care-packaged me an entire box of them, with six or seven different varieties (as well as some violet crumble).

Windmills reminded me of the Trader Joes Almond Windmill cookies. If you love almond these are crunchy nirvana.

My dad taught me that stands for “loose straps make floppy titties.”

I miss my dad.
