Me too! It was not so much a fight as him bringing up some things that bothered him, me crying it out, and hopefully both of us in a better place to be better friends.
The mourning from it ruined my chance to sleep late Saturday but it was worth it in the end.
Hee hee, I read scotandrsn’s post and thought, that sounds intriguing, maybe I’ll look that up. Then I read your post and realized that’s really where my heart is.
I watched my husband hop, while laughing hysterically into the emergency room.
He dropped kicked a computer monitor, (which still works BTW) and cracked his foot.
Our hospital is undergoing construction too, so he had to hop up a hill and around rocks.
That is what he gets for not controling his temper!
Flew over the Nazca Lines in a 4-seater plane to celebrate my birthday – the day before, we’d gone dune buggying, sandboarding and horseback riding. This morning, we toured the Ballineareas islands where they have a guano plantation and about a hundred thousand cormorants. The sea lions live there, too, and it’s the season when they have their pups. Pretty cool.
I actually have decided I’m not in love with running, as far as the experience of the exercise goes. I think I’ll start mixing it with cycling this week.
If anyone is interested, however, here’s the training program I used. It’s not perfect (IMO the transition from week 3 to week 4 is very difficult for a novice runner) but it eventually worked. I recommend dedicated running shoes. My cross-trainers didn’t cut it for me.
Best thing I did? Decide to spend the entirety of it with my girlfriend, whom I shall now officially dub TheNotSoSaneGirl. I would tack on “Whom I Love Dearly”, but its long enough as is.
Had a cocktail party with my girlfriend and some of my best friends on Friday. Got dressed up schnazzy, had some good food, a few drinks, and a rousing game of Apples to Apples.
Ice skating with the same crew on Saturday and just me and her watching movies afterwards. It was a good weekend.
