I don’t think the idea of America’s Player is stupid. In fact, I think it’s good. It’s just that a snivelling weasel like Eric is the very last one I want personifying it. I know what they tried to do. They gave us someone they thought was clean cut and inoffensive. Joke’s on them, it turns out. Next time, give us someone like Dr. Will. Americans (at least traditionally) are about cunning and resourcefulness and ingenuity.
Also, I thought Amber’s prayers were endearing. But my first thought when I heard them was that I would come here and find disapproval if not downright excoriation. There are hubristic prayers for sure, but I think hers was humble. They had a “your will, not mine, be done” quality about them. I would like to see more tolerance for people of faith — especially when they themselves are tolerant, humble, and good hearted, as she is.
See, I feel that way about Jameka (the humbleness and good-hearted part) but not Amber for some reason. Jameka prays and asks for God to give her signs for what to do and I have no problem with her trusting her faith to guide her. Amber’s prayer reminded me of the people who thank God for letting them win the Oscar/Grammy/whathaveyou and it bugged me. That and, “Kail and I are both mothers so I would never have put her up because of that.” That’s dumb, IMO. Dick’s a father. Would she put him up? (Though I will say that, as a mother, Amber probably deserves the money more than Kail, who bragged in the diary room that she owns half her town.)
I agree with your “dump ASAP” choices except for Eric. I kinda liked him from the start, before he became America’s Puppet. But I have to say that your idea about him getting evicted soon to screw up the producers is intriguing.
I think it’s only a matter of time before viewers start complaining that Jessica’s voice is inducing seizures. I personally feel like shoving icepicks in my ears every time she opens her mouth.
Still like Evil Dick, though his namedropping on Sunday’s episode got a little tiresome.
I’m actually starting to warm up to Danielle a bit. Mrs. Know, OTOH, absolutely hates every woman this season.

In the hot tub, with Joe and Nick, Zach has already admitted in the LIVE feeds that he sucked off a guy once and got busted by his dad. Then Nick in that same scene swims across to Zach and kisses him in the back of his neck. Then in another scene we see Nick dry humping Joe’s leg…!? Whats up with that? Eric and Mike are still suspect. Dick is for sure straight. But Mike sure goes out of his way to appear straight, like whats up with these mini-dates he’s been having with some of the girls.
Are we going to start a new thread each Thursday to use for the week (well, the BB week, which to me starts on Thursday)? Just curious. I was thinking of starting a new one.
