Big Brother Sept. 2

Can Adria’s self-righteousness actually blot out the sun? “Ah’m prayin’ for these people, cuz they sure need it.” “Ah stood behind mah people and Ah’m really blessed for that.” Uh-huh. “Pinky swear,” Adria? Stood behind Will, did you?

Marvin: “She got a whole lotta mouth.” Amen, Marvin.

That scene at the exit door was unreal. Thank you, Marvin, for actually challenging that load of crap! Chenbot said that was the first time there was a speech and counter-speech at the doorway; I’m surprised nobody’s staged that sort of thing before. Did they go over the technical one-minute limit?

Both the twins but especially Adria have this creepy smile that just chills me. While screwing people over, while condemning people, at the very moment of eviction … they plaster on that hateful, hateful smile that says “I’m better than you.” I’m so glad – so very, very glad – they’re both gone. I’m thinking this was a rare deep-in-the-game eviction based on personality alone, and not strategy. What a blessing for us; what a curse for Will.

Could Will look any cuter in those low-riding jeans? Will is not at all my “type” but he has a beautiful, beautiful body and dreamy twinkling eyes. He’s such a little bitch, though. He kind of deserves a week alone with the twins. I’m looking forward to lots more footage from the Jury House. What happened to Will’s accent, anyway?

Drew and Diane are both dumb as rocks. Especially Diane, tonight … hugging Marvin (and allowing herself to be kissed on the forehead by him) in plain view of Tattletale Cowboy — when Cowboy reported to Drew “they kissed,” the obvious implication was they kissed on the lips, and Diane was a fool for choosing to lie at that moment, and not make it clear to Drew that two sets of lips were not involved. She left Drew suspecting the worst when, by simple honesty, she could have completely defused the situation.

Not that Drew really cares who she kisses … the cruelty of the fake-out breakup? Who would put up with that? (Diane.)

So, jayjay, are you staying up all night monitoring the live feed recaps to see who’s nominated tonight? I’m not sure if I’m up for it.

The Borg Twins remind me of that monastic mother in Carrie. Same hair. Same children-of-the-corn eyes. Same orgasmic recitation of condemnation verses. “Eve was weak! Eve was weak! SAY it!!”

Drew is the classic passive-aggressive personality…

Diane: “Drew, you need to vote with us.”

Drew: “Oh, I will.”

One of Two: “Drew, you need to vote with me.”

Drew: “Oh, I will.”

Eviction nominations:

Drew has nominated Diane and Marvin.

Lib, do you have the live feeds, or do you just read the recaps? Any idea why those particular noms were chosen?

From the live feed summary on http://tvclubhouse.bomis.com

Sorry! I should have spoiler tagged that. I’ve requested the mods fix it.

The twins never had a chance. Not that I feel sorry for them, what minor opportunities they had they certainly squandered with their attitudes. The way they were introduced to the house made it virtually impossible they would be accepted. They clearly had primary alliegance to each other and were working together for their own benefit. Thus they automatically alienated any allies they had before. There could be no trust, not even the illusion of trust, between them and anyone else because both of them had clearly lied, many times, to everyone else in the house before they were revealed to be two seperate individuals.

That having been said, I don’t think their fate was inevitable, just the odds were stacked very heavily against them. Their first mistake was fracturing the girl’s alliance when Adria won head of household. They should have stuck with their original alliances and concentrated on ridding the house of the last of the four horsemen. Put up Marvin and Cowboy first. Then Drew and whoever was left from the previous week. Then you’ve got Will, Diane, Karen, Nikomas, Adria, Natalie, and one of the guys. Next round the last (non-Will)guy goes. With the numbers reduced and their alliance intact the twins uber alles partnership gains more sway in the voting. When the girl/Will alliance finally has to break down and nominate its own members then the twins dual votes start to shine.

Adria not continuing the witch hunt for the four horsemen and keeping the girls alliance intact made the twin’s eviction a virtual certainty. From that point on the twins had no chance. One of them may still have survived, but Adria(again) blew it. When she and Natalie were on the block and she won veto she should have saved Natalie. This may have allowed most of the remaining houseguests to feel that justice was served and not carry a torch for Natalie as well. Some noble speechifyin by Adria about how she made all the decisions that previous week and would take the heat for them wouldn’t have hurt.

In the meantime they are indeed a force to reckoned with in the jury room.

Enjoy,
Steven

I just read the recaps. For one thing, I refuse to install RealPlayer. But aside from that, the recaps are very entertaining. You don’t get things from the live feed like, “One of Two is assimilating Cowshit in the back yard.”

POV winner:

Diane

Ah, sounds like you read the Hamster Time boards, too. I used their recaps when I was away on vacation and missed two eps in a row. Thanks for the info.

Anycrap … poor Will, stuck in Sequesterville with the Twins! Karma is what it is, but God is clearly playing a cruel joke at his expense. Wonder if there are two evictions this week so that Will is not “accidentally” dismembered by the Borg?

There is war in the Vena household. DeHusband, strange spawn of the southwest that he is, insists that Cowboy needs to win this game being from Texas and all. DeHusband should be careful; he can be replaced.

Cowboy is an evil nasty whining damp little snitch who should be put out of MY misery. He’s disgusting, spineless and his wife bears an unnatural resemblance to my neice, which means Cowboy is not good enough for her. DeHusband is a kind soul who thinks Cowboy need protecting. I think Cowboy is in desperate need of an ass-kickin’. I’m just saying.

Drew, on the other hand, is really disappointing me. A smack on the forehead isn’t a kiss; I don’t think Diane lied as much as just didn’t think it meant anything. But, hopefully, this will open Diane’s eyes. Speaking of Diane… Please, girl, get some therapy. No man is worth it if he treats you like a doormat, even if he is pretty. He obviously never trusted you.

That leaves who? Karen? No. No one on the jury, except the sactimonious twins, will vote for someone who hides like a scared bunny.

Nacomis or Marvin. I’m torn. Marvin is playing the game and I respect that. And he has never let anyone lie to his face without calling them out on it. But Nacomis has been more of a team player. HMmmmmmmm.

Just color me happy that Adria is out. Talk about a christ complex!!

Wow, things happened fast and furious today:

First…

Apparently, Diane used the veto on herself, and Drew put up Nakomis in her place.

…and then…

Marvin was evicted.

…but unfortunately for the passive-aggressive pretty boy…

Nakomis is the new HOH!

I fail to see how all this “sudden death” stuff is good television. The build-up and suspension before and after nominations are why we watch the feeds and show.

I disagree with your assertion about Karen, DeVena. Karen is playing hard (just under the radar), and unlike the other houseguests, she has no enemies on the jury. None. I think Drew is in the same situation, except I think he has been riding the whole time on luck rather than strategy.

I’m angry that my favorite hamster is gone now.

I just hope that…

Nakomis puts up Drew and Cowboy

Monstro, what sudden death stuff did you mean? Like, two elims in one week?

It’s not just the two eliminations in one week. It’s the rapid-fast nomination-POV-elimination. It’s ruining everything.

Sudden death isn’t the right term but I don’t know what is.

Not even rapid-fast nomination-POV-elimination! On top of that, there’s another HOH. It’s like Les Moovnes is tired of the game and just wants to speed up the train wreck.

Every time you mention Carrie’s mother, all I can think of is “I can see your dirtypillows!” Sorry, there it is.

I shouldn’t have read your spoilers; I thought the eviction would be live on Saturday, not in the tv down-time. I’m very sad about what took place.

I used to have some sympathy for Cowboy but it has dried up. The crying on the phone, making the child cry, was the last straw for me. Grow up. If he wins I will just die.

Mgtman: Yes, the twins were in a difficult position not of their own making. But after the twist was revealed, they made the worst of the situation with their insufferable attitudes. That’s why I said Adria’s eviction was based on personality, not strategy – she had little power left after Natalie was evicted. Booting the twins sequentially was really a referendum on personalities. They deserved it; karma is a boomerang.

Another thing about Cowboy is his tattle-tale compulsion. Telephone, telegraph, and tell a Cowboy. The ONLY player that I respect on this show now is Nakomis. She is a smart and savvy woman with balls who is playing the game almost perfectly. I am ashamed at my recollection of how I judged her when she first said she liked to be called “Nakomis”. If anyone can complete the game and win on skill and merit, it is she. I’m pulling for her all the way.

I like little NikNak too. She’s the only one left in the house who has not fallen apart at the seams, and she has won HOH once again. If the other HGs were smart, they’d get rid of her with a quickness. But except for maybe Karen, the other players are not very intelligent.

See, I find this funny, because my husband is from El Paso and he has actually said that he finds Cowboy to be a total embarrassment to every Texan ever, alive or dead. Quoth he, “Listen, when a woman tells you stop crying – even if her Daddy did say it first – but if a woman tell yous to stop crying, you got some serious issues.” You might also wish to point out that Nakomis is also from Texas (San Antonio) and she would therefore represent.

Me too. After she survived the first eviction, I liked her more and more, and now she is my favorite. Certainly she’s the only one of the bunch left who does not desperately a bitchslap. Plus, I’m a little bit scared of her, which doesn’t hurt. (Not like “She’s weird” scared, but “She can totally kick my ass” scared.)

:stuck_out_tongue: Anyone else think they should totally abandon the BB house at this point and televise the jury house? :stuck_out_tongue:
