Zapped again. Logged on just now and all threads marked Read despite activity in them since I logged off almost 24 hours ago. So we’re back to that now.

We still do not know what causes that to happen.
It’s not something we’ve been able to reproduce from our end.
Dunno why it happens and why it happens only to certain people and these same people over and over again.
I’m stumped (which, I grant you, is not difficult to do).
vBulletin has nothing on this in any of their forums, or at least not anywhere I’ve been able to find.
I wish I had more and better to tell you.

Maybe you could try changing your password? Or, the next time this happens, you could see what time the latest read post is and tell between when and when it happened?
The king would never do such a thing, being a complete paragon of virtue and total goodness and a shining light for all mankind to follow. (At least, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it. I don’t need 15 years in the pokey.)
I’m not sure what you mean. All threads have been marked Read, and the posting activity shows the real time of posts. Come to think of it, when this happens, the Last Visited designation shows the time I’ve just logged in.
But everything’s fine today as well as last night when I logged in. Hopefully this was just a hiccup.
So you’ve never seen only some threads marked as read? I think that shows the problem is happening between the time of the last read thread, and the time when you check. Actually, if the last logged in time is correct, it’s probably happening when you log in. Maybe it checks the page twice in quick succession.
There have been occasions where only some threads were marked as Read. Oddly, these were not all in a row down below the Unread ones but interspersed among those marked Unread. But those cases are few. Usually it’s every single thread between log-off and log-back-on being marked as read.
The notion of checking the page twice in quick succession might have something to it.

The Board just went down for maybe 20 or 30 minutes. It’s back up again. Anyone else notice the glitch?
