Yes, the comparisons to the Unabomber case (which was unsolved until the brother spoke up) are missing the points that forensics have advanced enormously, and that there is more video surveillance than there was back then.

Presumably the bombs that went through the mail were, er, mailed at some point. Even those ‘self-service’ kiosks in post office lobbies have cameras trained on them.

This guy is going to be found, and he’s going to be tried, convicted, and imprisoned.

(Unless Trump pardons him, of course.)

Or, what if they grab some guy and put him out there, just to have a suspect? Some guy who vehemently protests his innocence? I mean, the CFSG hates the FBI anyway, I could imagine DoJ trying to lower them to this administration’s natural skill level.
