I agree that IRL Tempe could and would move on, but for the show? Other relationships that she and Booth have dabbled in have usually only served to intensify the sexual tension between them. That tension was/is the guts of the non-scientific dimension of the show. Without it…?

I admit, I, er, kind of cried a little when she and Booth were in the car at the end. I mean, who hasn’t done that - you think if you just man up and tell him how you feel it’s all going to be okay, but hey, it isn’t.
Also Bones’ fridge was cute and funny.
And she’s clearly a more rational person than I, because when I’ve been in that situation and it didn’t turn out how I wanted and the guy was kind and nice about it (“Should I call somebody to stay with you?”) I wanted to rip his throat out with my teeth.
Last night’s Bones was a rerun. Surely that’s not it for the season? After she CRIED in the previous episode… they’re not going to leave us dangling, are they?
No, according to IMDB there’s a lot left in the season.
I thought her cry was pretty good, too - some actresses don’t have that “face twisting up all ugly” thing down.
The random insertion of reruns makes me nuts, especially when it’s a rerun from about two weeks prior. Most of the shows do it now. They don’t seem to care at all about my mental/emotional stability.
It’s not random, it’s the holiday break. This has been standard practice for all network shows for decades. Look for Bones (and every other network show) to resume anywhere from mid January to late February.
I know it happens during the holidays, but it seems to me that it happens at unpredictable times during the regular season, too. Maybe I’m not paying attention.
Yeah, all through the season I have no idea whether to expect new shows or not. Is it sports?
