Bra question - need a sports bra supplier for larger ladies

I’ll be very brief here. My wife’s bras tend to range between 42J-44I. She is having no luck finding a sports bra anywhere near that size, and pregnancy is making underwires be a serious pain-filled proposition. I know there have been threads in the past dealing specifically with this, but my search-fu is weak.

Help? I’d love to be able to order her something soon.

I have no experience with sport bras but you could try Title Nine Sports.

www.enell.com for actual sports bra.

For unequalled comfort: www.decentexposures.com

For huge inventories and choices of larger size bras: www.herroom.com and www.amplebosom.com

For her current situation though, I strognly recommend a set of decentexposures bras with the breastfeeding clips.

Does Enell do custom sizes as large as she’d need, though? Their sizing chart only appears to go up to DDD or so.

Yes. I can’t get to the website from here, but look around and you’ll find the link for measuring and custom ordering.

What she said!

DE bras won’t keep the twins immobile like an official sports bra would - they’re not that solidly engineered. They are, however, INSANELY comfortable.

I wouldn’t spend the money for the breastfeeding clips, however. I wore regular DE bras 24/7 for the years I was pregnant and nursing and when it was time to feed a baby, I’d just pull the bra out of the way - since they’re really stretchy, that’s quite easy to do.

I’m of similar build to the OP’s wife (I think they measured me at 42-H when I got fitted for a nursing bra near the end of my first pregnancy). It was quite easy to just scoop the boob out of the top of the bra for a feeding session, then tug / shrug to get things back in place afterward.

Your wife’s actual measurements should be taken when deciding on an ENELL SPORTS Bra size. Although the size chart lists approximate “regular bra” sizes, this is not usually an accurate way to determine the ENELL SPORTS Bra size needed. There are instructions for measuring at www.enell.com and there is also information about custom ordering if that is the option that would work best.
