Just asking for opinions. A guy friend comes over, you tell him you just got up, he offers to go home, make you breakfast and bring it over. He does, lots of pancakes, eggs, toast, biscuits. Is this just a friendly gesture or more?

On the off-off-chance that this feller is the same guy referred to by CatWhisperer and** MOL** above, I went back and dug up your earlier thread on him (I’m home from work sick today, so I had time) to remind you of some highlights (bolding mine).
Thanks for all the help but I have to be over it now. Turns out he got a car; I asked him for a ride to the grocery store for my weekly groceries. Sure, he said.saying he’d be back in 10 minutes to take me up to a place with my application. The app is still in his car.
Okay. he called today claiming the guy made him work extra and then he came over but we had already left (true) then called me later. It didn’t show up on my caller i.d. though.asked if I had a few bucks to spare. I do not .
He called last Friday telling me theres this place we could go to get work that day, they send you out to a job, he said he’d drive me if it was a different location than they send him. Said he’d call back with more info Sunday. No call yet.
You are right, I am sad to report. He saw us walking somewhere earlier and drove us there, **said he’d be back at 3 **when we were done to take us home (its about 2 miles from home). At 3:45, we had to get someone from the place to drive us home, he never showed.
Yes, with sadness. I just wanted to add the extra good part where he picked me up on my way somewhere, dropped me off and said he would come back and pick me up(this is 2 miles from home) He requested gas money, whatever I wanted to offer. he never showed up, why, he later said, because he had to drive somewhere an hour drive away, and didn’t make it back in time. Yet he had enough gas money to drive to this place for almost 3 hours driving time.
Dear BB, if the guy you’re asking about here is indeed this same guy, your stove isn’t the only thing that’s malfunctioning.
