Bush Didn't Expect Any Iraq Casualties

Maybe Bush’s people can discredit the story on the grounds that the source is a well-known left-wing liberal commie pinko.

Ack – duplicate posting (the browser coughed up a hairball the first time, and I thought it hadn’t gone through). Mods, please pull the dupe.

Original Post

The sad part is that Pat Robertson thinks Bush’s self-assurance is a good thing.

Yes, because God loves to bless prideful and foolish leaders who can’t even admit to being wrong. I don’t even know why people try to be good. Go ahead and be bad…God will bless you anyway!

Pat Robertson praising Bush for yet another of his idiocies - it’s like a monkey picking bugs off another monkey.

Much as I’d like to tag Bush here, I’m wondering whether ol’ Rev. Robinson isn’t violating the commandment against bearing false witness. “President Bush didn’t think anybody would get hurt in that Iraq business, but I knew better, oh yes…” Yeah, sure, whatever.

Erm, excuse me, Rev. Robertson. How could one forget the name of the man who so willingly agreed with Jerry Falwell that 9/11 was the result of too much atheism in America?

I thought they blamed it on the homa-sekshuls.

Much as I’d love to believe this story, Pat Robertson is clearly a nut.

It was caused by a Coalition of the Wicked and Sinful, including homosexuals, atheists, and secular humanists.

Odd, I thought it was caused by Osama bin Laden. How foolish of us to have wrongly blamed Al Qaeda for 9/11 when really the WTC buildings were toppled by a giant hand that descended from the sky.

We meet once a week. Sunday mornings of course. If its your first time attending, you have to bring a baked good.

Just when you think Bush can’t look any loonier, along comes this from a source biased in his favor. How tempting it must be for God to smite this fool.

Mmmm…kitten bread!

Yes, but he got this part more right than the Administration’s cakewalkers did:

But “God’s blessing is upon him” anyway? Was it also on the ~1100 dead US troops?

Well, it is an election year, and old PR hasn’t had his name out there yet this year. Which is pretty much as predictable as any person can get. And I’m always reminded of Sam Kinison’s routine where he has Pat checking the air pressure on his tires at 3 a. m. because Jesus told him too.

Slight hijack: I just checked on MapQuest: from my parking spot here at Technical Thingies, Inc to Pat’s front door is exactly 3.48 miles. I probably pass him on the road several times a month and don’t know it.

Heh heh - I’m gonna get to kill me some people.

Maybe you people simple misjudge the intention and truth behind these words?

Clearly, since GW Bush is chosen, inspired, guided and blessed by God-in-the Bush-Christian-Version to launch his Rightful Holy Crusade against Eeviiiiiiiiilllllllll, he doesn’t see the US dead as “casualties”. They are the Chosen Ones that God takes directly to heaven as reward for the slaughtering of the Eeeeviiiiiiiiilllllll Develish People of Iraq.

This man is so misunderstood by His Own People… You would start to feel sorry for less.
Salaam. A

Because clearly, the one time Pat Robertson is to be A) listened to, and B) believed, is the one time when he’s criticizing President Bush. It’s amusing that most of you will dismiss the man as a nutcase 99.9% of the time, but the one time he says something you agree with, you trot it out as, pardon the pun, gospel.

Sounds remarkably like the guys who blow themselves up along with as many non-believers as they can so they can get to paradise.

Be nice if they could all just stand together in a circle and just blow each OTHER up, wouldn’t it?
