I’m petty this way, but I think if I was Biden I might tweet something like “Check it out Donald, Twitter only rejects losers! Stand up guys like me can post whatever we want! You’re a fucking loser Donald! See you in prison!”
Thing is, Joe the President is a man who uses a lot of words. Twitter is a medium of few words. Under him, @-potus may get used 4 or 5 times a year, for major announcements. If he were in office for eight years, the account would contain less than fifty postings.
(Well, that is annoying: there is a sdmb user named “potus”, forcing me to put the hyphen in there.)
Twitter’s rules on ban evasion are like this board’s. It’s an instant ban if you do that. And Trump’s style sticks out, so it would be very, very obvious.
Heck, I’m not sure anyone who helped him wouldn’t also be subject to a permanent, unless they claimed they were hacked or something. And they want to keep their Twitter accounts, probably.
Alas, Hannity had more important topics to address tonight, like debunking a satirical tweet that claimed Olive Garden had revoked his Lifetime Pasta Pass.

I’ve long despised the existence of Twitter. I thought it would lead to the downfall of society because it made its users dumb down their essential thoughts to 140 characters. I thought it would erode reading and writing comprehension to caveman level.
To be faaaaairrrrrr, users like George Takei managed to make Twitter snark an art form, so it at least had some entertainment value, like watching car wreck victims twitch* in their death throes.
Since the BBS days, I’d seen my fair share of trollers get banned, but perceived them to be basement-dwelling girlfriendless losers. Now I see they can come from all levels of society, even the Oval Office. My prophecy was fulfilled, but not for the reasons I thought.
