Can someone spoil last week's Eureka for me?

I got really sick last week, just before Eureka came on. I tried to watch, but couldn’t concentrate. And I have to miss tonight’s episode, but I can catch up before next week’s new one.

So, for last week I have two questions. If you can answer, maybe it should be in a spoiler box. I’ll spoil the questions as well, just in case anyone cares.

**1. ** Did someone important die? The teasers for the episode kept hinting at it. 2. Did the wedding actually go forward, and did Carter walk the bride down the aisle? I kind of like Nathan, but I’ve been hoping he bites it to give Carter a clear field again. I’m so going to hell!

They got caught in an endless time loop (kinda like Groundhog Day), only every time through it was a little different. Nathan ended up being a victim of what they had to do to fix the time loop. Carter walked her down the aisle numerous times, but in the end, the wedding didn’t happen, because Nathan vaporized.

Thanks!

Did Nathan know he would die?

Or did he? Unknown at this point. They are assuming he is dead, but knowing Stark, he figured a way out and just sent himself into the future.
Quite poignantly handled, too, I thought, with Carter expressing to Allison (multiple times) how he wanted her to know he’d always be there for her. And then, when he approaches her at the end, the wordless scene when she realizes something terrible has happened was heartbreaking.

And no, Nathan didn’t know he’d die, though they all knew there was some risk. Fargo actually offered to perform the task himself, but Nathan took it on.
Aren’t the recent episodes of Eureka on Hulu.com ? If you missed one, you should be able to go watch it, I think.

(Not a regular viewer, so not sure if the newest there is the newest on TV.)

Why, yes. Yes it is. Wasn’t aware of that.

I think that Nathan at least knew that it was more than probable that he would die. The other two figured that if they got the transfer right and survived the next few minutes everything would be great, so they let him do it without protest, but he knew that being in the chamber was probably fatal.

Maybe. But remember the last thing he said to Carter. He always has an edge.

NYAAH! I am SO not reading this thread until the weekend. I had to record (DVR) last week’s episode due to the Olympics, and once I found out it was a 2-parter, I am recording this one…

Walker out.
