Celebrity Apprentice II

The difference is that Annie is playing a game and theo thers are on a reality show. In the poker world, it is all about yourself, CYA etc. but that is all in the game, not away from the game. So Annie truly does not make the connection between her behaviour in the game versus her qualities as an person. Winning within the rules is honorable, EOS, for Annie.

Annie may or may not like Joan in real life, and who can blame if shhe sdeosn’t, being called Hitler is hardly something that someone forgets. But she knows that getting personal is the biggest enemy to success.

Halfway through this finale, this is all I could think of. (you tube link!)

Joan has completely lost it. Say what you want about Annie, but she has always been completely professional in the boardroom. Trump knows the real story about the designers - this should disqualify Joan on it’s own (although I think Annie cleaned her clock anyway).

Joan is crazy as a fucking coot.

I can’t believe anyone – let alone so many people – would think Joan deserves to be the winner. Doesn’t the fact that she’s totally fucking nuts disqualify her in some way?

I can’t understand how Joan won the “celebrity presence” portion… these were celebrity imitators who Trump said were frightening… Annie had real celebrities…

Trump is a parody of himself to pick that lunatic.

I don’t know what Annie could have done differently. But Donald got what he wanted. It’s his show and he can do what he wants.

That is just wrong.

Annie Duke is a fucking passive-aggressive sociopath. She deserved everything she got from Joan.

I think instead of picking the true winner, Donald was picking his MVP for the show. As crazy as she was, even I can’t deny that Joan was the MVP - she made the show as entertaining as possible - and I guess thats the real way to win the Celebrity Apprentice.

Dio, was Annie being passive aggressive when she told exactly what happened in the designer situation, and was attacked by Joan and Melissa? When she absolutly kept her cool and Donald - who had to know the truth - just sat there with that ratings-grabbing grin?

If we’re talking about unacceptable behavior … nope, I’d still have to give it to Annie. Joan told way more lies about her than she told about Joan. Wait – she didn’t tell any lies about Joan. Or anyone else, I don’t think.

Huh. Joan won? I’m glad I didn’t watch the finale.

Yeah, right. She “kept her cool.” Just like Nurse Ratchet.

Oh gawd. Joan wins? Not watching that.

Or Hitler, I guess.

Except it wasn’t exactly what happened. The event plannet was a prima donna douche who couldn’t stand to be have his ideas rejected. Joan didn’t insult him (that was an out and out lie on Annie’s part), and Joan wasn’t the reason he quit. He quit because he was unprofessional and didn’t want to do the work.

All Annie did was relate what she had been told when she confronted the design firm when the assigned designer wouldn’t return her calls or answer her phone. And for that she was screamed at and called a liar. She even managed to clarify her position while Joan and Melissa were having their childish outburst, but no one even listened - most of all Trump (and Dio).

To be honest, all I know is what was shown on the promos, and any idiot would put his money on her.

Actually, what Annie said was that she was told by a representative at the event planner company that they quit the job because they could not work with Joan. She also stated that the event planners felt insulted because another person (a designer friend of Joan’s?) was brought in on the job.

This matches the scenes that were aired where Joan did exactly those things. I don’t blame them for not wanting to work with Joan, although it did negatively impact Annie.

Joan is a crazy old bat who got a pity win from Donald so she and Melissa wouldn’t storm off the set of the live finale. I noticed they didn’t mention anything about what exactly Joan “won”.
