Donald Trump was on the Today show this morning and said who would be on the newest season of Celebrity Apprentice:
The show starts on January 4th.

Except for Sig Hansen. He seems like a cool guy. Which means he’ll leave early.
How the heck did Sig Hansen end up on a show like this?!?

Last I checked, Shawn Johnson is made of awesome.
This will be hard for me to decide who I dislike the most. I think it may have to be Kate Gosselin. This will be fun to watch, at least at the beginning. Maybe I should change that to Gilbert Gottfried. I don’t know how long I can listen to him.
I thought so too. Evidently the producers never picked him.
OTOH I’m betting he’s either going to be better at playing Apprentice than most of the others OR he’s going to flame out early because he won’t stand for the bullshit.
It’s nice to see Lorenzo Lamas getting some work.

When he was shooting Renegade they did an episode at a tiny dive bar, that was literally a 5 minute walk from my house when I was in high school, where he stopped in to get some info for some guy he was after.
They were only there for a day and us kids all stood around watching the production. About lunch time Loranzo came over and took pictures and signed autographs with us. He was a really nice guy.

I have my TiVo set, and am ready for Sunday. I realize the winners don’t get a real job, and I usually can’t remember wh won, but I enjoy seeing the people try to work together.
I wonder if they will mention Joan Rivers at all, since she won this once.
He has a happy middle he’ll have to use, but he will mainly use his fakey voice. I assume.
I’ll admit this show is a guilty pleasure I’ll binge watch on DVR.

Gawd, I love this silly show. I’m not much of a reality tv person in other regards, but these dysfunctional groups of semi-celebrities and the always OTT ‘the’ Donald, just fulfill some strange inner need I’d probably prefer not to examine too closely.
There are always the confirmations that some of these people are every bit as nasty and/or stupid as you always thought they’d be in real life. But there are some occasional surprises when someone turns out to be far smarter and more capable than you’d ever have thought, or far worse than you’d ever have thought (Dionne Warwick and David Cassidy, for example). And then there was the Meat Loaf and Gary Busey season…hands down the weirdest and thus most wonderful tv ever.
Can’t wait for the new group to begin. 
I’m a bit worried about too much drama in this cast. I watch Celebrity Apprentice because its for charity and pretty much free of people acting like total jerks. I’ll shut it off quick if they turn this show into Real Housewives. I’m not interested in shouting matches.
I expect Sig to do quite well. He’s accustomed to pressure filled 19 hour days. He’s not going to crack just because he loses a little sleep. Anyone that watches Deadliest Catch knows the hours these guys work. His weakness will be bringing in big donors.
Shawn Johnson will be quite good too. I see her in the final. Big donors will be a problem for her too.
I hate the episodes that become “Who has the richest friends?” I’m hopeful that they’ll get away from that somewhat this season because this doesn’t look like a lineup with a bunch of cash power. Owens and Damon can probably call in a few sports buddies, although I doubt that Owens has many left. Gottfried? Maybe. Geraldo probably still has some good contacts. At any rate, my guess is that this group doesn’t have the deep pockets that those of the past have had and I consider that a good thing. Of course, many of them aren’t really celebrities either.
Definitely won’t watch it until Kate and Gilbert are gone, dislike them both immensely.
Apparently Joan filmed a guest spot on one of the episodes before her passing, so she will be on the show…
Oh my goodness. It’s killing me they’re raking poor Keisha over the coals for not begging a serial rapist for money.
This was filmed early last summer. Long before the Cosby allegations became widely known. I doubt he would have given her enough to win anyhow. They lost by about a 100 grand.
Gilbert was a pleasant surprise. He worked his butt off for that team. I never thought he’d be such a positive contributor to the team. He organized an amazing group of street performers.

According to wiki this was filmed last winter. Cosby’s past was not known at the time. At least not widely known.
