Yeah, I think Clay is coming across as very petty and bitter there, especially in almost wishing he’d let “that homeless guy” keep the two tens Clay had wrestled away fromhim, just so Penn would’ve gotten called on his shenanigans.
Well, according to Penn himself (see stpauler’s link above–read the link, not just what was quoted), Blue Man Group seemed perfectly willing to just show up in street clothes and donate the money but Penn wanted them to “perform.”
How do you figure?
Cougar who looks like she sleeps on her stomach inside a sandwich press every night, or 20-something voluptuous diva with more curves than a country road?
Pretty easy choice, I’m thinkin’.
Thanks. Drat, I missed Arsenio telling off Aubrey, and getting her to walk off.
Juxtapose a complaint that Debbie’s outfit is too revealing with a complaint that the “eye candy” is gone?
When has Debbie shown a proclivity for chasing down younger men? Did she hit on Clay or something while I wasn’t looking?
I consider Aubrey to be eye candy. Not Debbie. Was this not clear?
Many guys nowadays consider simply the age of a woman, when applying the term “cougar”.
Her dress was horrible, not flattering for her physique at all. My wife completely agreed with me. We felt sorry for her total lack of fashion sense.
No, it really wasn’t – I also thought you were referring to Debbie.
Because, you know, there is no possible way to perform and just hand over $8,000.
Good on Arsenio for calling out Aubrey, yeah he wasn’t particularly tactful, but I don’t care. And I find it funny she can’t abide such a mean hateful atmosphere when her best friend on the show is Lisa Lampanelli.
Glad Aubrey cried and is probably leaving, not glad Arsenio completely lost his cool.
Oh yeah, big time. At one point she made a comment to the effect of “I’m sick of women whose only talent is looking good.” While Dayana it not a neurosurgeon, neither is Teresa, and while Lisa is often frustrated with Teresa, she flat out hates Dayana. Absolutely detests every single thing about this woman, and it’s absurd. Lisa seems to be extraordinarily bitter about being ugly. I can’t think of a time when the expression “Don’t hate me because I’m beautiful” has been more appropriate.
I can’t understand why these teams let Trump manipulate them into fights. If everyone is happy with how the project went then why not agree together not to fight? Pick two people ahead of time to return to the boardroom. Then no matter what Trump says stick with the script that everybody is happy.
Its absurd to get into fights before you even know if you lost.
Watching this boardroom I noticed Ivanka and Trumps Son are really good at stirring up the pot too. Geez, with all three throwing leading questions no wonder these teams are at each others throats.
Glad to see Arsenio and Aubrey playing nice. At least for the moment anyway.
Lisa is her normal nasty self. That woman is something else.
This was two weeks in a row that Penn was gone part of the time for something that couldn’t be canceled. I’m amazed he got away with it. Paul T. has been really good at flying under the radar. He doesn’t really bring any ideas or offer any leadership. He does whats asked like appearing in the commercial. I can’t see Paul lasting very much longer.
I’m still conflicted who will make the finals. Lisa keeps bragging about bringing all the creative ideas. But, most of the time the team she’s on loses.
I’m seeing Clay, Arsenio and maybe Penn in the final. A lot depends on how angry Arsenio gets at Aubrey. He could screw up his place in the final by losing his cool.
If Aubrey or Lisa are in the final. I won’t be watching. I’m not seeing another Joan Rivers win this thing.
Thank goodness they finally got rid of Lou. Mr muscles didn’t bring much else to the team. Then he sells out his team by saying he liked the other video. No wonder Trump sent him home.
Thank god it was Lou – I couldn’t’ve taken much more of his twitching.
Liked it when Ivanka called Aubrey out on her self-promotion.
Without a spoiler; I got a kick out of the person fired saying
“Take it back, I don’t want to be fire”.
As if DT is going to say, “Ok, if you really don’t WANT to be fire, I’ll fire _______ instead”.
So first, I liked the losing team’s commercial better than the winning team’s commercial. And I completely agree with their decision not to use Penn or Lou with Dayana in the commercial. It would have been creepy and less “relatable.” The decision to use actors was a good one.
The winning team’s commercial was uncomfortable and not that funny.
Finally, Lou really needed to go 4 episodes ago. It’s about time.
I loved that Lou said that he gave 100% and then quickly corrected himself in the next sentence so that everyone knew that gave 110%.
She is an extremely angry and bitter person.
I think Trump would have fired him last week (when Dee Snider left) except that Lou defended himself well. I think Trump was surprised by that. OTOH, Trump could have acknowledged the coherent defense and still fired him.
I guess all future contestants should now know how to answer the question “Whose ______ did you think was better?”
Agreed on all counts. The losing team’s commercial might have played it safe, but it worked. Like Penn, I don’t find double entendre amusing for the sake of being double entendre. “Oh look, they’re being so edgy!” That’s nice, but can you be funny or entertaining while you’re at it? I suppose some good came of it, because I don’t have to look at The Incredible Hulk anymore.
Did he? That is hilarious!
As an aside that has nothing to do with this episode in particular, I don’t usually catch the show when it airs (not home or watching something else), and catch up on it later. I’ve decided to continue with this route from here on out. I skipped cartoons Sunday (and my favorite show on the radio!) to watch this, and considering this show is 60% of fluff, previews, commercials, more fluff and “Coming Up Next,” next week if I’m home watching TV, I’ll stick with my cartoons and catch CA online later. Holy shit, it’s annoying sitting through this show while it airs on TV.
Clays new blog is up.
