Yeah, I was totally thinking he needs to calm the shit down. I’m not sure why Penn didn’t just say, “Um, I had to choose two people, you lunatic.” He was really wussy about it.
Re: the women – Lisa… Yeah, Lisa’s kind of a bitch. I want her to stay, though, because I think she’ll be entertaining, but Jesus, the way she responded when someone dared speak out of turn. Simmer yourself down, woman. And please, people, let’s get rid of Ronald McDonald next week because I’m tired of looking at her.
Lisa is totally correct about Stage Manager. It’s one of the most crucial positions in production. I’ve done all the positions on the crew, sound, lighting, props & costumes in college theater. By far the hardest I ever worked in my life was Stage Manager.
Victoria’s attitude about that job is just ridiculous. Calling sound & light cues isn’t that hard for such a short production. She probably didn’t have 20 cues total and still messed them up. That’s what Tech rehearsal is for.
Very glad to see Victoria go. She seemed to bring absolutely nothing to the challenges and her attitude was pure poison. That said, Lisa was a horrible manager and control freak. I can’t see her lasting for very long.
The previews for next week are interesting. I see almost no chance at all that the men can setup a fashion window display. Especially since the women’s team still has three top fashion models. The guys just as well chalk up a win for the ladies right now.
It should be funny as all get out seeing macho men like Lou, Adam, and the motorcycle guy hanging drapery and chintz.
I agree the men have almost no chance, but for a different reason: the woman are down two AND it will be completely subjective judging by his daughter.
As to the Hulk’s hissy fit: why the hell didn’t anyone ask him the obvious question? Who do you think Penn SHOULD have said he would bring back? And then, regardless of who he names, those people should have thrown hissy fits back at him.
BTW, I know Trump said the comedian was off this week, but what about the auto racer? What did he do in the show? Did he even say anything at all during the episode?
Anyone else notice that the producers must pre-film the celebrity exits?
Victoria had flat-ironed hair when she left the boardroom after being fired, loose curls leaving the building to get in the car, then back to flat-ironed for the backseat interview.
As much as she annoys me, Aubrey was actually not useless this week. She showed up and did things. She still completely lacks self awareness, but she’s was a team player.
Debbie needs to learn to shut up.
When Trump asks a Project Manager who they would bring back to the boardroom, shouldn’t they answer with “It depends on the reasons why we lost.” ?
With that answer, you don’t alienate any team members in the event that your team wins.
and yes, I think they pre-film the celebrity exits. On a rainy night because IIRC, every time someone leaves, it is raining. Adds to the drama, I think. LOL
In the Lisa Lampanelli interview on Adam Carolla’s podcast she mentioned one of the contestants (Penn Gillette?) absolutely refused to look sad when they were taping everybody’s exits.
Here’s how you can tell Lou Ferrigno has talent. He gives 110%.
But not only does he give 110%, but he is always giving 110%.
In fact, he gives exactly 110% at every moment in time, throughout existence. Not 109% and certainly not 111%. Lou is 110% focused on giving 110% at all times.
How do I know this? Because he tells you he gives 110% at every moment of his waking day.
I had to look up who he is.
Oh, and I think Penn handled Lou’s freak-out perfectly. Don’t engage, agree that it sucks, and just let Lou meltdown. Not much else to do.
I thought it was funny that Lisa insisted that she not be interrupted, yet she interrupted Victoria every chance she could in the board room, and this was not brought up as a violation of her own “communication code of conduct”
