Blurf.
Back to skool. Feels like aaages since the end of the last semester. I hope the other kids aren’t mean, I didn’t get the cool stationary.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis 71 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 97 and mostly N.O.S. for the day. Everyone else says Fall but down hear we say Summer Part 2. The floor guys will be here between seven and seven-thirty so I shall be about da cave today. I need to take care of trash duty over to the church house but that will need to wait until they leave. Someone must be present while they are here, so here I shall be. I think we shall visit our favorite Mexican place for sup. OLÈ!
Sari Echo is a cutie!
MOOOOOOM RoxStar knows she must eat in order to keep up her strength. Bein’ adorable is hard work after all!
Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then I suppose I should purtify somewhat. Such bother!
Happy Hump Day Y’all!
Woke at 2:30, dammit, and started feeling drowsy again about 4:45. So it’s gonna be a long day.
34 work days to go - and yes, I’m counting.
Happy Wednesday!!
Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off to work.
well i put my self in holiday hell …it all started about 4 or 5 years ago …see every year my aunt makes her desk into a Halloween/thanksgiving chimney and then decorates it accordingly she uses this corrugated paper… well one year I went to buy her more of said paper and bought the non corrugated kind (ie it didnt have the cardboard backing) thanks to a misleading salesperson well no big deal i just bought the correct stuff elsewhere
The “flat” paper just sat around in a box until the cousin i mention a lot decided it would look more Halloweeny if we papered the wall with the stuff that was just sitting there and we do it every year now(believe me its a headache ) and said cousin whos bright idea it was to begin with has nothing to do with it … Well last year we had a bunch of paper that was falling apart and i tossed it with the intentions of buying all-new for this year
Well for one reason or another it didn’t happen and we have half a room thats papered and were out of paper and the earliest we is get some friday …
now i always thought it was a pain in the ass but its now a tradition that must be …
Happy Hump Day!
It’s looks to be a pretty N.O.S. day today, high in the mid 80s. A good day for yard irk.
I got Ripple off to daycare, Echo went in with me but of course she couldn’t stay. However, she got passed around a bit which is good for her. She is a lot bolder than Ripple, but she hates to go for car rides.
She goes to the vet at 10 today.
Shady - traditions are meant to be broken.
Flytrap - the problem with plants was that they were 6 feet tall and falling over, if they had had flowers on them it would have been worth keeping them. Some of the other wild flowers are over 6 feet tall, but they are standing upright and have yellow flowers on top.
It looked messy, and I figured it would be better to trim it back before spraying for mosquitoes.
Nettie Adam does need a good talking to. My son said he was going to make him stay in last night so he could hunt mice. Instead Adam came up to bed with me and the pups. There aren’t any mice in my bedroom, or anywhere else upstairs.
My son said he saw a big fat (probably pregnant) mouse in the basement. It was just sitting there so he smacked with a shovel. Not hard enough to kill it I guess, because it ran off. Unless it dies where ever it ran off too. Then it will stink, but better a stinky dead mouse in the basement than a live one giving birth.
As much as they creep me out, I’d get a pet snake to live in the basement, if I could count on it staying down there. But they don’t eat that often, so I’d probably need a bunch of them. And I know they won’t stay put.
Allergies from h3ll. I can’t wear my contacts because my eyes are itchy and watering. I’m constantly coughing and sniffling. Yes, I take Allegra, Flonase, and Singulair. I hate mold spores fungi. Bring on the frost to kill these buggers.
Howdy Y’all! Floor guys showed up around seven-thirty and have been hard at work. They say they will be done today and from the looks of things they will. Plus the new floorin’ looks so good! In a few days da cave will be all back together again and all spiffed up.
**{{{WetOne}}} hope you’re feelin’ better soonest.
Shady I have no holiday decoratin’ traditions. This is where bein’ a cantankerous, grumpy old man comes in handy. Fortunately I live with another cantankerous, grumpy old man as well.
Morning all. No mysterious voices this morning saying hello, so I guess the spirit has vacated the premises. Supposed to get to 91F today with a 20% chance of rain.
Shady, TRADITION! Fiddler on the roof - Tradition ( with subtitles ) - YouTube
Now to forage for sustenance.
Spirits are supposed to haunt, not be haunted; therefore, it prolly went to haunt someone who’s not nekkid.
I don’t remember who did it first but that damn Gloom, Despair and Agony song is now stuck in my head permanently I guess. Make it stop…
Blurf
**Butters **- I can give you “Baby Shark, doo doo doo doo doo doo…” At least it’s a cute earworm.
OK, lunch is over. back to work. blech.
Here’s one for you, and Roxy should like it too.

Echo is healthy, weighs 11 pounds at 8.5 weeks. Ripple was 9 pounds at 9 weeks.
We sprayed weed killer out behind the fence.
I am pissed, got a notice from the city about the weeds in my parking pad. I don’t have any weeds in my parking pad, the neighbors do. I have leaves, but no weeds.
So we sprayed the neighbor’s pad.
I wonder if the person down the street who has has old furniture sitting out by the alley for several months got a notice, or the person 3 doors up whose yard is about 2 feet high?
I debated spraying the neighbor’s pad, let the dumb bitch at the city send me another notice and I can tell her she has the wrong address - again
We can’t spray the mosquito spray though because it has to dry 24 hours before the dogs can go out. I think. I though the directions said 3-4 hours. So I have to go look it up on the website.
A bunch of shit to do today, and most of it involves phone calls.
Sorry about that, Butters. Maybe this will help: Badger Badger Badger | 1 Hour | Weebl - YouTube
Nothing much to report, the Southwest Chief was an hour late to LaPlata, Mo (I watch trains on-line) and the morning meal has been consumed, but nothing much else on the schedule.
Howdy Y’all! The floor guys tell me they will need to come back tomorrow to finish up trim work and such, which is fine by me. They are still here and right now workin’ in the other guest bedroom. They’ll get the laundry room finished up as well. I can see the laundry as bein’ a little bit of a PITA what with the washer, dryer, and beerator in there. My great neighbor came over for a while so I could go over to the church house for trash duty and go by :eek:Wally Jr. to get some yogurt and 'nanners. That’s my go to break of the fast and I was out of both. [del]The Hog Trough[/del] Golden Corral shall provide tonight’s sup.
Sari and Metal Mouse The Llama and Badger songs came to mind as well. Just to help Butters I shall throw in Surfin’ Bird.
You’re Welcome! ![]()
