Cheap Chawklit in the MMP

Well, no doubt, since you make him to yard work. :dubious:

Started rolltop desk cleaning and preps for repairing and did many other productive adult type things IN SPITE OF THE FACT that both bikes were gassed, I got plenty of ammo, and the sun and temps were perfect. I am proud and ashamed of myself at the same time.

Adulting is not for the weak. Next time though, I’m counting on you. I need to live vicariously through you sun-able folk somehow.

Sari if you ever do get that desperate, I guarantee that Adam will change his mind about a cute little female cat. Something about the birds and the bees works wonders in that department.

I also did adulting and did NOT enjoy it. At all. I did get frozen yogurt, but not enough frozen yogurt. I did find the BBQ of my dreams, so I may ponder on that for a while. Do I want a new computer or a new BBQ? My current BBQ was bought at an end of season sale at the grocery store for not much. It’s been through one tornado and a few windstorms and 2 long-distance moves. Its cooking abilities are best described as “rumored”. I used to cook a lot of BBQ, so this has hampered my meal prep considerably.

Computer. Well, the one I have is several years old. It’s starting to show its age a bit, but it works. I spend a lot of time on it every day, because I don’t really do anything but sit here all day. My husband is strongly pushing me to try and write a book or use my mind productively. A new computer is probably in order for that. My daughter does not have a computer and is currently writing her school papers on her iPad (she makes me nuts - she insists that this is acceptable because we WOULD buy her a laptop). This would be a reason she could not dodge to get a computer.

Decisions, decisions.

I leave tomorrow afternoon for CA. Must pack, but it shall be tomorrow after the kids are at school. I think I have used up today’s spoons.

Speaking of spoons i found a few and got up off my ass and did a few things around the house and laundry. We had samiches for dinner as i just could not bring myself to cook. I am on day 5 of Chantix and in two days will be a nonsmoker if it kills me and it might. Very strange feeling. And i have not even got to the high dose yet. Plus i am a little on the grouchy side but am determined.

Speaking of spoons in a few days our Rosie will have been gone for 5 months.

I disabled autocorrect so all typos are genuine.

I’m sorry about Abby, moooom.

Good on you for quitting smoking butters. I quit a few years ago, was evil for a few months but now can do a lot more things without sucking wind. Keep it up!

It was another rainy, chilly day. I was afraid that the rain would drown the 'maters and peppers, but both are growing well. The sweet basil, oregano and thyme are growing waaaaay better than I expected.

I spoke with Dad this afternoon and put in an order for 1X4X6 pieces of wood to mount lino on so that I don’t have to spend a fortune on premade ones. My relief carving is ready to ink up and print.

I didn’t get the water colors out this afternoon, but went out for a foot tub to do a pedicure and came home with that, a new 7" stainless steel skillet and a few other things. A salad and some fresh snap beans with bacon for supper. Yum!

Good on you Butters and Red and all of our non-smokers! I know it’s hard, but it’s worth it.

I think of Rosie too. I have a picture that I see every day that someone gave me the day she died. It just happened to be rose colored. So every day I take a minute to remember her. It makes me happy and sad all at once.

damn!

Agatha Christie is on but it is in French.
There are subtitles but that means I really have to pay attention, if I can even stay awake that long.
