Here are some clay necklaces I have made. They are all $10 and come with a necklace, even if there isn’t one in the picture. Shipping is $2.00 for the first item and .25 for each additional item. I can bill through Paypal or will take a personal check or money order.
If you want a custom piece, I will do my best. I will not charge for it or ship it unless if meets your desires. Prices for custom items are based on the item.

Darn it. I screwed up the links. This is the link to the album. If you like one, please just tell me the picture number from the album.
Nope, link goes to “page not found”
Here it is again
Thanks Maggie. I thought I checked it but I might have linked to an item I deleted.
By the way, if an item has been sold, I put sold in the item description. Some items can be repeated, some can’t. If it can be, it’ll say that too.
Oh, so they’re necklaces with clay pendants, rather than necklaces with clay in the chains? Because I’m looking for a worry-bead style necklace because I have a habit of playing with my lanyard as a nervous habit, and I think it would be easier on my fingers if it wasn’t metal.
I actually make lanyards. I’ve never made one out of clay beads but I can.
The ones I have made right now are here (this was before I got sick of the process of setting stuff up on Etsy).
Anyway, I can try to make what you’re looking for. My concern is that the clay might wear down faster than plastic, stone, or wood might if you are a particularly forceful fidgeter (like I am).
Hmm… Somewhere around here, I have a wrist lanyard that’s make out of very smooth stones. I had made it to sell at the dog training center but I’m pretty sure I never brought it over there. The question becomes, what the heck did I do with it?
Been working on combating the lazies. I’ve put some of the pendants on beaded necklaces. One is all beads I made, one is a mix of red wood and black plastic beads, and the third is purple seed beads and crystals.
Ludovic, Don’t know if that first one is along the lines you were thinking but I was playing with the beads before I strung them and they do feel pretty nice. But, the necklace is a bit heavy, as I feared. Of course, I also made most of the beads pretty large so that could be solved with smaller beads. Unfortunately, I ran out of clay.

Hi Congo: I saw the lanyards made out of wood but unfortunately I’m looking for more of a functional, less feminine, lanyard* – but then again the price is right and it is a wooden lanyard (which I’m not sure if they even sell or not in stores.) So if you have any that are made out of tinier pieces of wood or clay I might be interested in those.
*Although if I were going for a hippie look I’d still consider it.
ETA: a quick Google shows that they do sell them on the Net, although the styles I saw thru a quick Google still wouldn’t be something I’d wear every day. I just want something softer than metal and that won’t blow around in the wind.
Was this more like what you had in mind Ludovic? Just about 100 pea sized (more or less) black beads, unglazed so not shiny. I’m not sure I can make anything less feminine than this. It’s just about 13" total in length. On me, it hangs about halfway down my breastbone.
The beads are not even remotely identical to each other but they’re pretty close in size and they’re pretty close to round. I think the feel of them might be just what you’re looking for. They’re smooth and feel almost soft. It’s not heavy but not as light weight as the typical cloth lanyard (I didn’t put a hook on because I didn’t know if you wanted a lanyard or a necklace but if you want it and want a lanyard, I can restring it easily). I used .039 stretch cord (the thickest one I have) so it’s pretty durable.
If it is what you had in mind but you don’t like the color, that’s no problem. If it’s not what you had in mind, that’s no problem too. If you don’t want it, I might keep it for myself. Non-feminine is how I tend to roll.
