College Bowl Games!

I’m off to a bad start. 2-4. I was bored the other day and before the first game started, took my sheet and made my picks. Not who “I wanted to win”, but who I thought would win.

Not doing so well so far. Hell, one of my wins was a complete guess that ended in OT.

Hoping it will get better. Anybody else pick all 34 and keeping track?

I wish I could have gotten fired up this year. Between the Univ. of Michigan and the Detroit Lions ,I have lost a lot of interest.
At least I still can watch The Worlds Strongest Man Competition".

Boise State/TCU was a great game.

Got it wrong in my Pick-em too. Forget where I scored it confidence wise, think it was the lower third…

College bowl games are the hardest games to predict. The players have been sitting around for at least a couple of weeks and many times a lot longer. I’m doing terrible with my picks and also was wrong on TCU/Boise.

I will be happy if Hawaii can beat Notre Dame. Love to see Notre Dame get humiliated.

I will be satisfied as long as Rutgers gets their win. I was very impressed by the Boise State/TCU game. It definitely lived up to the hype that I had thought was a little over the top.

C’mon …Central Michigan and Western Michigan are future powerhouses.Get on the wagon now!

I am in a pool, picking against the spreads, the good news is that I have only lost one game, but that bad news is that only three of the games of the pool have been played. For whatever reason, the pool admin decided only 25 of the 34 games would be part of the pool.

Won Wake Forest and South Slorida, my los was BYU as an underdog. I hope it doesn’t come down to a tiebreaker because aI picked 67 pts as the total points for Boise St/TCU.

Go Hawaii, can’t believe they are the underdog against Notre Dame. How far have the golden domers fallen to be underdogs to Hawaii?

Well, I just checked the current line. Notre Dame is favored, but in my pool Hawaii is favored by 1.5. The Notre Dame faithful :D(fools that they are) must have pushed the line to the other side. Maybe some Hawaii injuries or suspensions. I don’t know

I’m running about 50% in our office pool. Sadly, two employees who picked essentially at random are at 100%. Thankfully there are a lot more games to play.

Actually, I got BSU/TCU right in my pickem. Went with the head not the heart. Hawaii? Not so much…

I’ve still only got 2 wins. F’ing Notre Dame!

I’ll win the rest, I tells ya!

As of right now (Orange Bowl in progress), I’m .500. Mind you, I’d be much better off if I picked teams I wanted to win, rather than ones I thought would. Perfect today, however.

I just wanted to come back to give a few ups to the Pac Ten! Un-EFing-defeated in bowls this year!

The Rose Bowl was a bit of a dissapointment. I liked the first half, but didn’t care for the way Troy laid down for an aging Jo Pa and let them score so much in the second half. Hell, I saw Cushing playing “Patty-Cake” with the lineman on several plays where he could have stuffed the Penn St. QB into the turf! Game wasn’t even as close as the score lets on. Kind of…weak…

Should have been 45-7. Oh well. I’ll take it!

4/5 wins coming against teams in the Top 20. Way to stick it to the haters guys!
…my Cougs will be back soon enough…

I know! It almost makes up for getting consistently pasted by the Mountain West during the regular season!

:stuck_out_tongue:

Word.

Go Ducks!

Here’s hoping the Utes can beat the annoying as hell Crimson Tide, and shut those SEC fuckers up for at least two seconds.

21-0. Are you kidding me?

Go Utah!!!

Maybe Alabama needs to move to the big 10.

If Alabama loses they should take away Saban’s “Coach of the Year” award.

OVER

RATED!!!

OVER

RATED!!!

It’s always a good night when you can:

  1. Watch Nick Saban lose.
  2. Shut the SEC whores up for a few minutes.
  3. Watch Nick Saban lose.
  4. Watch a mid major beat a perennially overrated big school.
  5. Watch Nick Saban lose.
  6. Watch some Alabama fucktard committing a personal foul in the 4th quarter out of frustration to losing to Utah.
  7. Watch Nick Saban lose.
  8. Watch a team that scheduled a bunch of weak ass non conference games to pad their wins and cruise through a weak half of a conference to get the #1 ranking, only to lose it when they play a real team, lose by what should be double digits.
  9. Watch Nick Saban lose.

I fully admit to not watching, nor caring, a whole lot of college football. And I’m not excited to listen to the Utes claim they deserved a shot at the title for being undefeated. But anytime Alabama, the SEC, and Nick Saban get their asses handed to them, it’s a good day in my book.
