Wow. 13th place. Not bad for a rookie.
6 interceptions. :smack: Yeah, Keenum will be back next year, to try to erase today’s humiliation. Unfortunately, after 6 INT’s, he’ll be lucky if he comes back as 1st string QB.
Dammit. I really need to double check my picks. I loved the MWC but somehow wasn’t on them
What a BULLSHIT call. The Stanford player wrapped the kick returner up and drove him to the ground. He wasn’t fucking blocked into him.
hehe more crappy calls to benefit the Pac-10. Of course since I stayed on Stanford I’m not as pissed at that one for Stanford.
It’s not going to matter. OU has Gerhart shut down, and that’s all Stanford has on offense.
The military academies have been so bad for so long that it is strange to see them in bowls at all, let alone successful. The last time army made a bowl Grant was blocking for Sherman. But, Navy is looking pretty good. Air force was tough too.
0 and 3 to start the day, I taking myslef out of it rapidly
Everybody wanted pizza’s delivered today, so I missed most of the games. At least I picked the Navy upset (but only because of my uncle). I only picked UT because I think I said I was going all SEC. I thought better of that in the money pool that I’m in.
By my count, out of the 20 games so far, 11 have been “upsets”.
Those who complained because some players did not weight the teams according to changed rules, are now in an advantaged position. If the guys who gave high points to early games did not get a huge lead, they will be overtaken by those who have all high value games left. It all works out .
Apparently, I screwed up the confidence rules, I thought the Auburn/Northwestern game was a 2nd Tier matchup.
Sue me. I’m almost in the last place.
In the jsc1953 Conference Bowl Scorecard Race for the Bragging Rights: through Dec 31, heading into the home stretch, the Mountain West (4-0) is in the lead with 22 points, followed by the Big 12 (3-2) with 15 points (Nebraska bagged a bunch of points for knocking off Pac-10 #2 Arizona. And that’s not including any bonus points for administering a woodshed ass-kicking).
The MAC (0-3) brings up the rear with -6.5 points, just ahead of the Pac-10 (2-4) with - 4.5 points.
Of course it all works out. There is 595 pts available to everyone. The purpose of the rule was to challenge people to give higher weight to the more important (and hopefully more evenly matched) BCS games and then to the ‘Omni’ games.
Does anyone really care if MTSU or Wyoming or East Central Michigan win their bowl games? Well, except for alumni I guess.
Goddamn it, Auburn is pissing me off. What the hell is wrong with their discipline? This game is not decided yet, and both McFadden and Tate are showboating like this is the NFL. Very selfish and stupid.
Congratulations, Ben Tate. You just cost your team a touchdown.
I hope everyone is watching the Outback Bowl (Auburn - Northwestern) instead of one of those other duds. This game is freakin’ crazy.
Auburn just got lucky. The SEC is not looking good right now.
Oh well I guess the game ending on the foot of some wussy kicker would have been wrong anyway
Poor discipline. Poor defense. Good God, Auburn.
Sloppy ugly game both ways.
5 Ints for christ sake?
