For shits and grins, I looked up Thom Brennaman’s wiki page.
2nd paragraph under broadcasting career:
Thom is currently sucking off Tim Tebow

OK, that’s not nice.
Continuing to pile on…Brennaman & Billick are masters of the impressive-sounding but meaningless fact:
Florida is the 1st team *ever *to win 13 games in back-to-back seasons. Which has only been possible for about 10 years (since teams started playing 12 games before the bowls).
Brian Kelly is the 1st coach Notre Dame has hired in the last decade and a half with significant winning college experience. In other words…his resume is more impressive than Ty Willingham’s was.
This game reminds me of the 2008 Sugar Bowl, Georgia against Hawaii. Just a brutal, brutal beatdown.
Yeah. I always hope to see a good competitive game in a bowl…didn’t get it in this one for sure. This was over after the opening drives (Cinci: 2 holding penalties. Florida: TD).
2nd stringer just broke off a 52 yard run. Jesus.
Signing off for the night. See you folks tomorrow!
I love bowl season!
Wow, I didn’t get to watch much of the games yesterday, so I log in this morning to see how I am doing. I find that I have got 9 out of 10 right over the past 2 days and the one I missed only had a confidence score of 2. I have moved from around 19th place to 1st.
Them who went blanketly against the Big 10,11,12, hurt themselves. Northwestern should have won too.
How nice for you.
The only top 10 confidence games I haven’t gotten wrong are the ones that haven’t been played yet.
This is when those who played by the rules can move up. They have all high value games left.
Interesting game tonight. Does a huge coaching problem affect a team more than booting a bunch of players for discipline problems. MSU has had to dump 14 players this season. That should be a huge embarrassment to the university. The Texas Tech coaching fiasco is ugly but the personnel are still there. This is hardly a shining example of college football .
I’m picking TTU still, in an ugly game.
And USF has broken the International Bowl open pretty well, and they’re getting the ball back, early in the 4th. If they hold on, this should help my stats (assuming I don’t take it in the shorts the rest of the day).
Oh, and the Papajohns bowl is being played here in town. UConn’s taking it to the Gamecocks right now. I definitely had South Carolina in this one. Looks like I’m taking it in the shorts.
ETA: Holy crap. Nobody’s in the stands.
Only gamblers care if USF beats N. Illinois. Well them and players and their families and students at the schools. But who else ? OK the administration and teachers. Well then the people living around the campus but who else?
I picked USF and can not tell you why.
shrug Hey, it’s points. I picked USF, so I’m happy about it.
I can; I picked USF because they were good 2 years ago and I’d heard of them. Can’t say the same for N. Illinois.
A stupid reason, but there it is.
Meanwhile, if Ok State had brought an offense we might have a good game in the Cotton Bowl.
Boy, the Gamecocks are playing stupid and undisciplined football.
Has Steve Spurrier lost control of his team? I’ve never seen so much crappy, undisciplined play. Personal fouls, fumbles, dropped balls. This is ugly.
How could they not see that offside? A 300 lber breaks into the backfield and everybody but the refs saw it.
