Texas is playing with the zeal of a Mussberger broadcast. Slow and boring will not win the game. They have to open it up, even with a freshman at the helm. The Big Game is a snoozer.

Texas seems to be over the shock and are at least playing some defense now. Why the hell does a team not bring their backups along during the season?
Looking at the replays the ball is right in front of the running back and it bounces off his hands.
I’m making the assumption they called the play and he didn’t just improvise, if so I still think it’s a poor call given that Alabama’s line is good and there seemed to be little room for a play like that.

Now that the Yankees have won the World Series, and the SEC claims another BCS championship, maybe the Lakers or the Celtics will win the NBA, North Carolina or Kansas will win March Madness, and the last whiff of fresh air will have left the entire sports world.
Hey, that’s okay, because someone other than the Canadiens will win the Stanley Cup.

It was pretty cool to hear the Rammer Jammer chant post-game. Must’ve been a lot of Bama fans in the Rose Bowl.

No matter either way as it was all for fun. Just seeing my name near the top was enough to keep me interested in the games - which was the major reason to participate.
I wish I could claim some superior knowledge - but alas it was all luck. Many games I thought would be blowouts were suprisingly close and some of the upsets I picked on a lark turned out to be blowouts.

ESPN is reporting the Pete Carroll is headed to be head coach of Seattle Seahawks.
And Tommy Tuberville is the new head coach of Texas Tech.
I always thought that, of all of the coaches that got fired last year after losing to 'Bama, Tuberville was the least deserving (of getting fired).
